Love
I’m obsessed with Mason jars. I use them for everything. I needed some pitchers and half gallon mason jars are perfect but I needed a pitcher lid. I was a little worried about whether these could handle a half gallon jar. But they handle it with no problem. Works just like a normal pitcher. The opening can be a little tough to flip open but they are husband and teenager approved.

A great helper in the kitchen
I regularly freeze liquids in a pint jar and have been frustrated by the inefficiency of later needing to move the liquid to a another container for pouring. Then I found these ingenious pouring lids. They are sturdy (the handles do not bend) and liquid-tight. Once the liquid has thawed in the jar, I just change the metal lid to this one and I am ready to go. Very practical. They are available in regular and wide mouth Mason/Ball jar sizes. The only thing I would change is to make them dishwasher safe but they only take a few moments to wash by hand.

The O ring is too big and makes removal difficult
The O ring doesn't fit the size of the lid. If you can get it all to align and screw on, they are great and do not leak, I love the concept. However, the O ring is too large and creates a weird suction so its (a) hard to get on the jar and (b) once on the jar, it is so hard to get off.

Threads Did Not Match to Jars
I gave these three stars for the concept. I think they would have been exactly what I was looking for if I could have gotten them to screw on the jars. I tried them on four styles of Ball and Mason jars and they wouldn't go on any of them. After examining them I realized the threads in the lids did not match up with the threads on the jars. Also, the gaskets were too large and would not lay flat. I'm sending them back because they are useless.

Functional
The handles make pouring from a half gallon jar easy. However, the handles feel a little flimsy, so I doubt they'll last overly long. The leak-proof seal on the inside is too large for its groove, so milk collects underneath. Unfortunately the seal is also hard to remove, so cleaning the milk from under the seal is difficult. Overall the lids work, but the product could be better.

Turn wide mouth jar any size into a pitcher.
Got my first one with a cold brew coffee kit. Liked it so well ordered the pack of four. I love using real glass and I love these tops that make it so easy. I use a lot of canning jars and placing the lid on the counter while spooning out homemade salad dressing works but can be messy. These are wonderful mess stoppers. Pat Stoll.

Fun add
So, I started making my own creamer because I wanted something all natural with ingredients I knew how to pronounce and were organic. I was using a mason jar and this kid makes pouring easy and fun. No more twisting a lid off every time I wanted my creamer. It’s also cheaper than buying an actual creamer container. If you already own mason jars, these lids are a must.

Thin/flexible plastic handle & leaky gasket
We get milk in half gallon jars and wanted to use these to help the kids pour without spilling. The handle is a thinner hollow plastic which bends and is too narrow for adult fingers to use easily. The gasket is a really thin silicone and leaks a little and is hard to loosen once it’s tightened down. It would probably work with a 1 qt jar better.
