Very nice tool that makes book scanning quite easier if that's what you need
I bought the CZUR scanner mostly for a way to scan my son's artwork and didn't have any original intention of scanning books. CZUR was kind enough to send me this assistive cover as a free thank you for registering my scanner, so I decided I would give it a trial at least. The assistive cover is very effective at blocking out the book cover from the image, which does help the algorithm on the edge detection. I would recommend thinking through the lighting of where you place the scanner though, where I currently have it I get unwanted shadows that do mess with things, but that part is my fault :)

Assistive cover does not work like the ad says it does. It is too clunky to use.
This Assistive Cover does not work very well with my Czur scanner. It just does not do what the ad says it does. I can do better by taping the book covers to the desk to hold it in place, and then using the finger cots to hold the pages down. It is just too clunky to use very well.

not that helpful
If you are looking to get great looking scans, then this might be worth the money. But for what I need, it is an overkill for me.
