Works well!
A well-working unit for moving files from an SD card to a computer. I use mine for my Nikon camera SD card. Beats wiring the camera to the computer every time I need to transfer JPGs.

Floppy Disk Drive Worked Very Well.
I probably had over 100 floppy disks shoved in a box, stuffed in a closet from the 1990's. I was able to read all the disks and move those files to my desk top and eventuall to a dedicated thumb drive for viewing at a later date. The only issue I had, periodically, was an error message stating it couldn't read the disk. However, it gave a couple options like, continue, or something similar (don't remember exactly), but clicking on continue allowed the disk drive to read the disk like normal. So, overall, the drive worked very well. I used it with Windows 10 with no problem. I was able to move several hundred old word, excel, clipart, jpg, pcx, and other files with practically no trouble. If I had to guess, out of the over 100 disks processed, maybe less than 10 gave that initial error, but continued on to process the disks anyway. I did not try to write to the disks because once I cleared the old files they would just be tossed.

Works on Mac, not on Win10
I bought this because I needed to retrieve precious genealogy work from 1995. I could not read the floppy on Win10 even though it was recognized in Device Mgr. I tried all the tricks. I started to then suspect maybe the floppy itself was corrupted. I suppose I could have gone on the hunt for a Win7 systems at work but IT upgraded everything to Win10 as soon as MicroSoft discontinued support. So I thought I'd try it with a Mac and to my surprise it recognized it and I was able to browse to the contents. First thing I did was copy it off. The eject button worked better on the Mac than on Windows too.
