Main Points: Inexpensive replacement/extra cables for hard-wire internet connections.Purpose: Inexpensive replacement for cables that had broken press tabs.Pros:1. Solid, kink-proof shielding. Some complained that it was too stiff & didn't uncoil easily. I prefer them stiffer. Just uncoil them by manually reverse-bending every semi-circle. The cables don't retain the coil shape & become easy to use/route. I do the same thing with power cables that often get wound up & cable tied -- just reverse bend them & they become straight/flexible again.2. Hooded press tab, keeps the tabs from breaking (hopefully).3. Choice of colors.Gripe:1. The reason I only gave 4 stars -- what I got was not what was shown in picture. They are not individually packaged, nor come in some sort of firm packaging. They are tied in loops, then tossed into a bag with nothing written on it. The only sign of the brand GearIT is that is was sprayed onto the cable shielding. If I had known it was bulk-packaged, I probably would have save even more money & purchased the generic bulk-packaged ones.Neutral:1. There were complaints that the cables were difficult to remove. I had difficulty at first (never used a hooded press tab). After looking closely, I realized I was pressing at the wrong place. I was pressing near the end of the hood. Turns out, I needed to press close to the base of the hood. Since changing my pressing spot, I've had no problems unplugging any of these cables.2. There were complaints that these were not really CAT6. They work with my home internet &basic office internet, so I don't need the CAT6. I have no way of testing to see if they can actually handle CAT6 speeds.

I've used 100s of these cables, but in our new office I need to find something else. From a quality and durability perspective, I find no fault. My only issue is that once plugged in, be it a switch, patch panel, or computer, they are EXTREMELY difficult to pull out. I have to use an old tool I've got that is a cross between long-neck and channel-lock pliers to remove them. Be super careful before you plug one into something because it will be painful and difficult if you need to get it out. I've broken too many keystone jacks (and the like) to keep counting.

Arrived quickly and seem to be working well, no issues thus far. Only small complaint is that the purple color is pretty underwhelming, enough to differentiate it from my other older cables but if you're getting it for aesthetic purposes might be better off with plain black.

Worked well, all cables uniform in size, makes the patch panel look neater, at this price the time saving was well worth the purchase.

As someone who has a lot of wired devices in my home, having a stock of quality Ethernet cables on hand is a must.The cables are well constructed. I've used them for everything from connecting smart TVs, game consoles and streaming devices in my entertainment center to wiring up my home office desk.In every application, these Cat 6 cables have provided speedy and reliable wired connections. I consistently get the full gigabit speeds out of my devices thanks to these high quality patch cables. The 3 foot length is perfect for most of my needs without leaving excessive slack.

When I received this item it was packaged as simply coils of Ethernet Cables (fastened with bread ties) inside of a cheap clear plastic bag with a card that read "Give us a Review". So I am giving a review, and the four stars are because of the packaging issues. Overall the cables have worked pretty well so far for me but the packaging left a lot to be desired. I would recommend them though, at the price point they seem pretty good.

Se conecta muy fácilmente. El largo está perfecto para conectar mi computadora directamente al modem que está en otra habitación de la casa y la conexión de wi-fi es muy débil y a cada rato se va la señal. Me ha salvado para mis clases en línea y para mis juegos en linea.
