This umbrella is compact and so easy to use.

I bought this for travel and it is a good size dimensions wise…but way too heavy to lug around in a backpack. I’m going to keep it in my car because I think it’s a good umbrella, just not necessarily for travel. (I got a lighter one for travel at Staples of all places)

Very hard to eject and then push back in to close it.

purchased this umbrella for travel. It is easy to pack and was great to use.

The umbrella is true to the picture, very pretty. But you have to be careful with strong wind as it can easily break or flip. Obviously you can’t expect much resistance for such a small and practical umbrella. Also the Open/Close button is hard to press, and the umbrella is really hard to close.

The umbrella is a little heavier and bulkier than I thought it would be but compact enough for a med. to large purse, depending on how packed your purse is. It's lined in black so could be a sunshade and it seems plastic coated so should be very effective keeping the rain out, which you need if you live in a Pacific rainforest like me. You do have to use two hands to close it after pushing the button, which I always find annoying on umbrellas.I do wish the handle was a bit longer and that it had an lanyard to put around the wrist, but I knew what I was getting. All in all it looks sturdy but I haven't been out in a windstorm yet.
