5x11 (read fine print in description)
BEWARE OF MEASUREMENTS!The posted measurements make it sounds as if these containers are the same ones from Michael's that hold 12x21 paper but read the measurements that are advertised are for the OUTSIDE of the container. These will NOT hold 12x12 paper -- only 8.5x11 (read fine print in description). I was looking for 12x12 storage and have returned these twice

Excellent cases for storing board games
I got these as a space saving option to store my board games. Previously, I was able to fit four games stacked on a shelf, but now I can fit nine! The size is great for many games. I was able to fit Ticket to Ride into one, which was the tightest squeeze due to all the train pieces. Clips stay closed on all ten of mine with no issues, so the other reviewers complaining of issues may have gotten defective items? Really happy with this purchase.

A separate complaint is that the IRIS product sticker is right in the middle of the box and doesn't come off easily, so plan to
We aren't returning these, only because we can't find anything else this slim size, which is what we need. But be aware that even right out of the box, the latches don't stay closed. We bought the 10-pack case, and that is true for each of the boxes. I had read the reviews that complained about the latches not closing properly, but thought that since we are using the boxes for long-term storage and don't intend to open the boxes frequently, that would not be a deal-breaker. BUT the latches don't stay closed even when brand new and even when you coax and plead with them to stay closed..A separate complaint is that the IRIS product sticker is right in the middle of the box and doesn't come off easily, so plan to take time to use "Goo Gone" or the like to remove each sticker before using the box if you want to see what is inside it.

Excellent for scrap paper...see pic.
I really love that they're slim and it fits all of my scrapbooking scrap paper in a small space. The only reason why you did not get five stars on everything is because the latches don't really stay closed. Inside dimensions are the most important measurements, especially for paper crafters.

Do not buy these!
These do NOT stay shut at all. Though they would work great if they did, it's a deal breaker. What's the purpose of having something to keep together papers if the latch will not stay shut. I too found the link on Teach Outside the Box's blog. These are not the same boxes she uses. They look nothing like those and are not the same quality. Don't buy these, size up and get the bigger ones or go with the more expensive option which is 10 dollars more.

They are fantastic for quilt-piecing projects.
They are perfect for holding quilting projects. I have four quilt-piecing projects going, from wall hangings to a twin bed quilt, and each of these cases holds the all the supplies (fabric, blocks, strips, etc.) for each project. They stack so I can easily see which project I want to work on, and for the hand piecing quilt, the opened case sits nicely in my lap and I can hand piece without taking the fabric out of the case. The plastic is not extra thick, but it's also not too thin. It's also not brittle. The plastic feels "nice." There is an adequate handle to grab the case. The only drawback, which is not a drawback for me, is that the case probably is not well-suited to be carried by the handle. When I move the cases, I orient them as if they were laptops - so that the lid does not accidently open and spill all the fabric pieces, thread, needles, etc. I don't know if the lid would open, but it's not worth taking the chance as far as I'm concerned. I'd buy more, if I decided to do more than 6 piecing projects at a time. They are fantastic

Love Hate Relationship!
The containers are so perfect for so many things but they DO NOT lock proper!Check out my pictures and note that the hinges only have 2 swivel points on both sides. I think that’s why one of the two clamps when close keeps popping open :-(. I guess the folders are great for filing things that will be stored but not something you want to walk around with waiting for them to open and have everything fall out. The old “you get what you pay for” saying applies here.UPDATE: How funny. The price went up from 22.36 to 36.88 (that's a 14.52 increase) Wondering if they close proper now or if being so bad should cost more... (Just Wondering) or maybe REALLY would be a more accurate response...

Great for teachers to keep unit materials in
Great for teachers to keep unit materials in! Keeps my classroom organized. I bought a box of ten and a couple of the plastic closures don't stay closed, but other than that I really like them. Update: Less happy with the quality of the closures as time has gone on. They continue to snap open and things fall out. The idea is perfect for teachers. Unfortunately the product quality isn't consistent.

Love these cases!
I use these to organize my projects (quilting mostly) and keep everything I need for that project in one place.Completely clear which makes for easy content viewing. Stack-able, although not the most sturdy of materials. I plan on applying some medical tape (the kind you apply to your acrylic rules to prevent them from slipping) onto the bottom of each case as I do find they shift quite easily when storing them stacked. Everything is organized and easily accessible. I can just grab the one I want to work on and get to work.

Sturdy
These are very sturdy containers. I was expecting them to be much slimmer. As they are they do still fit on my Michael’s Jmax shelves. I can fit quite a lot of card stock (8.5 x 11”) into each. They are not ment for 12 x12 stock.

Helpful tool
I bought the wrong size but I kept them anyways because if I can be proactive enough to make the size work. These are very handy for storing projects as I work. I am attempting to keep my studio a bit tidier and these seem to be doing the trick. It even helps with planning and prepping a project; I can fit paper, tools, ink, and other accessories into the bin and work from there. If I’m not done the project, the parts can all go back in and get placed back into the shelf with all the other concurrent or future projects.

Did exactly what we needed it to do.
Sturdy and easy to open/close. Used to organize and store the kids crafts and extra papers. Love that it is clear and we know exactly what is in each of them for easy access. These are stored in a corner of the kids’ bookshelf and works great there.

Mauvaises dimensions
