Metal, more robust than nut it replaced
Threads were cut well and seems like it will last longer than the skewer.

Cheap and fast shipping. Nothing to complain about. For some reason, it is hard to find these without the skewer. I guess it is not a common request, but it did take a while to find these. No complaints.
