No, it cannot. The most that the torch can be tilted downward without it activating is 70 degrees.

Under a year. Stay away. They don’t honor their warranty

My suv gun has stopped working. flame initially comes out but then gets real small and then fizzles out. i have tried a new gas tank with same result

Their are video’s that demonstrate how to clear a check valve then liquid propane gets into the gun. Their are also videos on how to hold the gun as not to cause this issue. They also sell a service kit to clean the valves with tools and replacement parts. Videos on this too.
