Ok, FIRST AND FOREMOST!!! Unless you are unrealistic about your real size, these do run big. Based on a couple of reviews that say they ran small, I didn't want to take a chance. After looking at the size chart and reviews I decided to go with my actual size....they just arrived today and guess what? Too big. I mean, extra roomy big. I have just re-ordered these in a smaller size and that should be perfect.The quality of this item is excellent though. I would have liked to have had a pair that were lined but those are difficult to find without being either too skimpy (why bother, they look just like regular bottoms) or too baggy (why bother just wear a dress!). These are flattering shorts that will last a long time. Nicely made, good quality and the price tag says $28 for MSRP. Guess I'm getting a good deal! :) The length is perfect, not too short not too long, catches me about mid-thigh, just like a great pair of regular shorts do. The leg opening is not too narrow or too wide (no floaters!). These will be very versatile and will get you from poolside to running errands or from the beach to around town.I recommend going one size DOWN from your regular size if you truly know what you are for a size. I know I'm an 8-10 and like I said, I ordered the 10 thinking to be cautious....will be able to wear the 8 and I'm thinking it will still be roomy enough to be comfortable. If I wanted a bit more snug I'd go with a 6. Just an FYI. I bought some shorts from Walmart that were like that...I ordered 8's and wear the 6's with room to spare. Makes you feel good (hey, what's in a number right?) but it's just the way these are cut. They are fairly straight in their cut...no curves really. I'm curvy and these adapt well but like I said, they run big because of their cut.Hope this helps.

Recived the shorts today, love the pattern, length and material, however they were too big, which is why I gave them 4 stars. Ordered a size 4, fit more like a 6. Returned and ordered a size 2, fingers crossed they are not too small, since I have never bought a size 2.

I wear these shorts for snorkeling. They get a lot of use and have held up well. I wash and line-dry the shorts without issue. They dry fast too. They do not have stretch. For me the size as true. The pockets are designed well. I have not lost anything out of them while swimming. I would buy them again.

I wanted to love these board shorts, but they are just OK. I was hoping these would be my go-to for kayaking and other activities on the beach, before swimming, wearing to amusement park with water rides that soak you, but they are not very comfortable for that. I’ve only worn them once so far because they were so uncomfortable. The length is great as far as coverage on legs, but the overall fit is not flattering, not slimming, because they do run big, especially at the leg openings. They flare out and are very “swishy” when you walk. The fabric feels like plastic, and it made me feel so HOT, in a bad way. We walked a couple miles on the beach, and by the end of the walk, I was dripping with sweat from these shorts, and they were just sticking to me, the legs kept creeping up my leg with each step. I could not wait to jump into the ocean. They are not “moisture wicking” at all, so I would not recommend wearing these for any activity other than ONLY swimming or being submerged in water. And lastly, the pocket is very small, not big enough to carry a phone or keys (ONE key will fit, but not securely since no zipper or closure), in case you are wondering, so if you need to have your phone or keys with you during any activity while wearing these shorts, you will need to carry them in hand, or use something else to hold them.

I ordered these shorts for my 14 year old daughter. First, as to sizing - based on the size chart, I would normally have ordered her one of the medium sizes, an 8 or a 10. However, given the reviews that said these run small, I ordered a 12 and a 14 for her to try. They were too large by 1-2 sizes. I ended up taking the size 12 in by 2" at the waist, so I think the 8 would have fit her perfectly. So I think these actually run true-to-size, at least for her body shape which is not yet very curvy. They were also longer on her than shown in the photo - they came to the top of her knees (she is about 5'2" tall), but she was happy with that.She needed these for an outing and there wasn't time to exchange them for the correct size, so I ended up altering them instead. I think that may have turned out to be a good thing, because although they fit fairly close to the body in the waist and the hips, they were very baggy in the legs and my daughter wanted them to fit her legs more closely (although not skin tight). As I mentioned, I took them in by 1" at each side of the waist but by the bottom of the leg I was removing 4" on each leg.Based on how difficult it was to remove the pocket (which I then replaced after I had taken them in), I'd say these are well constructed.I ordered both a black and a gray. In each case the stitching and the shoestring were the same color as the main fabric, so that the shorts were either solid black or solid gray -- not the white contrast stitching and string as shown in the photo. There was one pocket on the right leg.

A short with inner lining for swimming in - can be worn as shorts or in water. Very comfortable, & material is great, love the turquoise blue!

El diseño, estampado y calidad me gustaron. La talla que regularmente uso me quedó un poco ajustada, voy a preferir una talla más grande.

I enjoyed the shorts while ATV riding in the jungle. It did not stick to the skin in super hot environment.
