Sconsigliato. Review: Consistent not accurate - I put it in a humidor with three different hygrometers, all three has the reading range of 64-66, this product reads 78. I give three star for consistency not accuracy ## Features - PRECISE HUMIDITY TRACKING: Maintain the optimal environment. I want to dremel out a hole in my humidor and install this.** A: You can the unit is not that thick so you may have to dremel or route out the hole intended to be 1/8" or so. **Q: Many people spoke of recalibrating this unit. How do you know if it needs recalibraing and if it does, how do you know what to set it at?** A: Recalibrating was essential for mine, it read 20%RH too high, compared to an Acurite digital model recently calibrated with the Boveda bag. You don't know what to set it at unless you have an accurate unit to compare it with, or better yet one of those bags sold with a packet of special chemicals inside that guarantees a certain humidity inside the bag. It proved not to be too complicated for me, as I already had a recently purchased calibration bag (Boveda, about $8 for 3 months use). The set screw was hidden under the magnet on the back. The needle jumped around a bit, but I was finally able to get it calibrated OK. I used the 32%RH Boveda bag (for humidor use you might want the higher RH bag). I have not used the salt method, but it seems to work for most folks. **Q: Can this be used for household humidity or only cigars?** A: Pretty sure it reads humidity where ever it's at.. room, cigar box or outside but I wouldn't get it wet **Q: how does it attach to your tank?** A: The back is magnetic and it comes with an adhesive metal disc that you can attach to your preferred container. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ PRODOTTO IMPRECISO *by I***O on 23 August 2019* L'igrometro ha indicato per settimane lo stesso livello di umidità (con variazioni minime). I give three star for consistency not accuracy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Western Humidor Analog Hygrometer *by K***N on 20 March 2021* Excellent hygrometer. Looks good and feels solid. According to the salt test, the calibration out of the box was only 3 percent off. A slight turn of the screw in the back and I got it down to 1 percent, which is more than enough for my applications. Much better than the junk I saw at Canadian Tire, which had as much as a 30 percent variation between different units of the same model and no calibration adjusments. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cigar Oasis Analog Hygrometer and Humidity Sensor - High Precision Humidity Monitor for Reliable Cigar Humidor Care and Maintenance - Scotte Cigar Humidifier Rectangle Cigar Humidors Humidifier Increase Humidity Keep Cigars/Tobacco Fresh - Boveda 72% Two-Way Humidity Control Packs For Wood Humidifier Boxes – Size 60 – 4 Pack – Moisture Absorbers – Humidifier Packs – Hydration Packets in Resealable Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/329860936-cigar-oasis-analog-hygrometer-and-humidity-sensor-high-precision-humidity](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/329860936-cigar-oasis-analog-hygrometer-and-humidity-sensor-high-precision-humidity) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
