Heats up well.
You'll feel these big patches heat up very quickly. Capcicum is an effective remedy but my back gets itchy after a couple of hours so have to remove them. I recommend them with the caution about the possibility of itching.

Amazing! Safe! Non Pharma and Cheap!
This patch is a literal lifesaver. I have been given many medications for chronic pain - most of them were not helpful and/or damaging to my body, in many and various ways. ALL of them had significant and highly undesirable side-effects. This particular compound is safe, non-systemic, and 100 % effective in relieving pain . I can enthusiastically endorse its use (from this specific company . Some brands have undesirable additives : read labels) . Capsaicin is also available as pharmaceutical liquid . Not one of the pain specialists who I have seen knew about using it. It comes in 8% liquid and can be compounded in any compounding pharmacy, or prescribed as Qutenza). Barbara Harris

Not a good product!
You're lucky if you can get the patch off the lining paper without it twisting and ruining the whole patch. So far, I have ruin three patches because it's difficult to get the patch off without it sticking to the ends. This is not a Heat Patch. I do not recommend this patch especially if you are suffering from back pain. It's going to be very difficult to get the patch on your back unless you have help. Anyway, the ones I did get on my shoulder and knee did not help with my pain. This product is a waste of money!

They do get pretty warm
I like the heat they put out can get a little warm but I was able to endure, if you are too sensitive regarding the heat do not use these patches get pretty warm

these work really well
it takes a few minutes to heat up once patch is on your back, but very soothing for the entire day. Highly recommend. I did try cutting them in half, but I feel that the adhesive did not stay on when it was cut. If you use the whole patch intact, it works fantastically well.
