With a top speed of 60 mph, the M18 tank destroyer was the fastest WWII US tracked fighting vehicle. It had the highest kill-to-loss ratio of all US tanks and tank destroyers. This kit includes both 76mm and 75mm ammo, ammo tubes, and ammo boxes. There are also field packs and both 50 cal and 30 cal ammo boxes provided.Like: Molded in Olive Drab so repainting is not required. Flexible "rubber band" tracks are provided which speeds assembly. Being an open-turret design, there is good (but not perfect) interior details. Parts fit well and there was virtually no flash to trim off.Dislike: An M18 had a crew of five, but no crew figures are included. There are some holes in the bottom of the hull; possibly for a motorized version of this model. No technical details for an actual M18 are listed. The assembly instructions are sometimes not very clear; and I needed to refer to historical photos to place some parts.

I had never heard of this tank before, so it was a nice addition to the Sherman I built.There were a couple of gaps that needed filling but overall, it was a very nice model.

Older kit not bad detail some fit issues,if you can but tamiya version buy that one more money but worth it, what I've learned missing with kits off and on for 30yrs you get what you pay for, if you can get it on sale for sure!

Well designed model. No ambiguity as far as fitting parts. Good detailing including interior. Only negative, no figures, drivers, etc.
