Samsara Herbs Eucommia Extract Powder - 20:1 Concentrated Extract (2oz/57g)

I feel this is a little pricy, but the flavor does not disappoint. I've been taking Eucommia for years now, in different forms (pills, cooked directly from the raw Eucommia whole piece in boiling water to make it into a drink) and this is my first time trying it as a powder. I drink this like tea and added a small amount of sugar or honey. The taste is great! When I cook form the raw form in boiling water, the flavor is a lot more bitter than consuming it in powder.Convenient and great tasting.

I've suffered from TMD for five years. For pain, inflammation, and swelling I would take ibuprophen. I ordered Eucommia for the primary purpose of an anti-inflammatory replacement as who knows how much damage has been done to my liver and recently I've gotten a bruise from ibuprophen. Green tea, aloe vera juice, all things that certainly helped but not nearly as much as this extract.Within 15 minutes I can feel the swelling in my TMJ start to subside. After 1 hour it feels relaxed and I can feel great (considering my condition) for easily the next 7 hours. Not only does this work as an anti-inflammatory but it works better than any medication and more quickly to boot. The bone and joint health properties will also hopefully aid me in recovery when I undergo an arthroscopy for my TMJ.

Started taking Eucommia powder for joint pain and general health. I almost did not try it because of the bad review on the taste but I am glad I did as the benefits outweigh the taste concern for sure. It is bitter but nothing you can not get down particularly if you mix it with a flavored yogurt but I find generally for extracts, if you just take a scoop directly in your mouth and chase it with almond milk or even better, chocolate almond milk, it is no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be. If you know anything about alternative health/natural products and want concentrated extracts, it tastes exactly as one would expect for a 20:1 extract. Glad I tried it and will definitely keep using for joint pain.

Not as bitter as I've read and it's only at the end. It was suggested to mix in smoothies or other drinks to hide the flavor but to be honest with you I drink as a tea. I find it a very nice flavor reminiscent coffee. I would suggest to try it on its own you may be pleasantly surprised, I was

I was in search of something natural to help my lingering back pain when I found this herb. It does help and I am glad I didn't have to think about my back for last couple of weeks.

I have a herniated disk in it L5S1 with sciatica in my left leg. I have been trying to get away from NSAID’s and after reading the reviews on this product was hopeful that maybe I found an alternative. Unfortunately my excitement turned to disappointment as the eucommia had zero positive effect on me. I continued using the product and followed the dosage instructions until the bag was finished hopeful that maybe this had to build up in my system to work. Maybe it works for some people, we are all different. For me it was a waste of money and my search for a natural product with less side effects continues.

I have Eucommia for a long time but in its actual form as an herb along with others herbs such ginseng, horny goat weed and other herbs boiling with bones as a soup or with animal organs. This time I wanted to try in powder form so I go use as a post workout drink along with horny goat weed He Shou which as far works quite well. Good for maintains strong bones and inner spirit.

Love it easy to dissolve goes right in my coffee or tea no problem. My joints are doing so much better awsome herb.
