just buy it
Let me be honest, these are very cheaply made. Because they are cheaply made, I could afford to get this 3-pack, instead of trying to make do with one light. I just wish they had regular 120 plugs instead of USB. I also wish they were a little brighter. But again, if they were ideal in all aspects, I could not afford them. Now for what I really like. I like how adjustable the brightness is on them. With three adjustable lights you can make nearly all shadows disappear. I like how adjustable the tripods are. And I like how tall they are.If you're looking for the best lights money can buy, just keep scrolling, these aren't for you. If you just need something that gets the job done for an affordable price, buy these.

Amazing Value - Just Keep your Expectations in Check
I bought these honestly because I was just going to take the stands and butcher them to make a light box holder for a photo booth I'm building. But when they came, I can say I was pleasantly surprised with these little lights. Are they high quality? No. For $45, you can't expect fantastic lighting with high quality stands. But they're a lot better than I did expect! The stands are very lightweight - which could be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it. They are not extremely tall, so you won't be using them over overhead lighting. But great if you're sitting down. They do come with swivel head attachments, which probably won't support a heavy attachment, but will definitely save you a $10 bucks a piece off buying them separately if you're using them just for the lights, or for other light weight use.The lights themselves are bright enough. All combined you're likely to get about 3000 lumens total out of them according to the manual (each light is supposedly 1000 lumens). The included filters are OK and will soften the LEDs a little, but you might consider putting a white semi transparent pouch over them or something to soften it even more. The one negative is that the set does not come with a power supply, so make sure you purchase your own supply. I hooked it up to a USB power supply that gives you power draw, and it said that each light draws 1.5amps, so make sure you get a supply that's going to provide at least 2 amps for each light. All in all, if you temper your expectations, I think you'll be pleased with the value of this little set. They'd be perfect for youtube videos, IMO, and honestly I will probably end up using the lights by themselves for the photobooth.

Just alright...
I got these to set up a 3-point lighting system in my office for streaming. They come with (almost) everything needed to get up and running, however there are a few caveats. I'll start with what I like:Pros:- They are compact and light, easy to place wherever you need- They are easily adjusted for height and angle- The gels are easy to install, and it's nice they come with color gels at all- The brightness adjustment is fairly broad so you can dial in just how much light you want- They are LED so will consume less power than traditional incandescent bulbs (in this modern age, what ISN'T LED though)Now onto the cons:- The stands only go up to about 4 feet, so they are useless for placing behind desks/monitors. You'll have to put them on a raised stand, or on the desk itself. The stands are also fairly narrow-footed so they are likely to tip over if you accidentally bump the lights.- They do NOT come with power supplies and run off of USB (I assume they expect you to plug into your USB ports on your PC, or use a powered USB hub of some type). All of my USB ports are occupied so I had to scrounge the house for some spare old phone power supplies (and purchase a power strips with USB ports).-The gels, although nice to have, are the primary colors, but cast extremely colorful light (I use the yellow and blue as rim lighting, but it can be too vibrant/saturated at times). This could be what you want for artsy shots or accent lighting, but I would prefer some pastels suitable for slight coloration.- They are not as bright as you may expect. Decent enough for video if you have a reasonable camera and lens, but you'll want to shoot wide open and maybe increase ISO a few notches.- The panels themselves are somewhat small, so they act more like a point-source light that a true diffused panel. Sure, you can buy (or build) a softbox to enlarge the light surface area, but this would reduce the already limited brightness output of them. Not much of an issue for me, but might be for someone who doesn't have a lens that lets in as much light. Just something to think about.Overall the lights are good, and reasonable for what you pay. They could be GREAT with just a few tweaks to the stand design and included accessories, though.

Excellent value.
The lights themselves are very well made. The switch and intensity control work smoothly. The range of adjustment is quite good. The tripods, while very budget, still do their job. The 360 and 90° swivels are convenient. I am using mine, vertically to surround a teleprompter. Quite satisfied.

Works well, very bright
It works very well and does what it's supposed to do. However I would say that if you want a light to illuminate your face, I would recommend something with a softer light, as this one is very powerful and is blinding.Overall this is cheap and illuminates very strongly, I recommend.
