Front Facing Parking Stand Compatible with Segway miniPRO and Ninebot S.

The seller was GREAT and the item was delivered well before the delivery date given. But as for the manufacturer, shame on you.My impression is that this was created to cover a design flaw -- that the Segway MiniPro simply won't stand up by itself, once powered down. If you don't care about the unit laying around or needing to prop it against a wall, it's not a problem. But for those of us who need to put it away when not in use, it's a critical component and one you really should purchase (which the manufacturer should have automatically included ...perhaps in future versions?).At first, it's really not that obvious how it goes on or where it gets attached. But once you figure it out, the palm to the forehead bop and the irresistible need to say, "duh" can't be avoided. It really is incredibly simple once you figure it out. But oddly enough, why wouldn't the makers provide assembly instructions?There are two locations to apply the unit, I applied the kick stand to the back (no additional handlebar on my unit). When applied to the front, at least on mine, there was still an amount of imbalance that brought the Segway to lean forward and topple. NO TOOLS REQUIRED. Nor is there a need to remove any screws or bolts. [ Please see photos] The kickstand simply lines up (real close to the tire) into two slots with the pin (on the kickstand) going into one hole and the knurled screw being put into the other and tightened (note that the kickstand should be able to fold away from the tire - perpendicularly). Application is less than a minute (once you figure out where it goes). When applied, you wonder why the manufacturer didn't put one on originally.Overall, a necessary purchase and well received.

The stand works well and installs easily. The reason it doesn't get 4 or even 5 stars is because it's advertised as being able to be installed on the front or back of the MiniBot but it only fits the front in reality.If you've installed a handlebar as I have then you've got to get off the MiniBot from the rear, then step around to the front of the unit to deploy the kickstand. This can be a major pain as the scooter wants to scoot forward over your foot if the handlebar isn't held in just the right spot to prevent the MiniBot from rolling forward or backwards as you fumble to lower the stand with your toe.

I installed these on two segways after installing handlebar kits. The increased weight toward the front of the Segways makes these very handy. Installation was simple with no tools required. On one of them I needed to also tighten the Allen on the front.

This kick stand works great and becomes almost a necessity when one installs the stand up steering bar, but is pricey. The only down side is DO NOT TURN THE MINIPRO ON WITH THE STAND DEPLOYED, it will take off.

This thing looks cool but it does not work, the angle is all wrong. So when it is down, the scooter still falls over. It needs to be bent out more so the segway can lean on it. Then when I was riding it, it flipped down, causing the threads to rip out of the segway, cracking out and damaging the segway body where it is bolted in. It ended up in the trash.

This is a sturdy and well-made kickstand. Segway should have really built kickstands into their product in the first place. However, short of a factory installed kickstand, this one is dependable and sturdy. Cannot ask for more!

Works great. Easy to install.

This is a must for anyone that wants to keep it scratch free from falling over.

The stand is ok but it has no End stop in the down position. It will stop contacting the wheel.

Screw comes loose very often
