Saved me from having to spend more.

I changed my last fuel filter from subaru with a OEM filter. I thought I was great for a while. Supposed to work for 5 years or 30k miles. I met neither of those, so I thought I had other issues. Which I kinda did. Like the Fuel pump was the wrong size. So I changed that, ran fuel injector cleaner. My car was still hesitating. So I thought instead of replacing fuel injectors or pulling them for a more heavy duty cleaning. I would get this filter and a air filter. I changed the fuel filter, and low and behold, my car works like it should again! Then I changed my air filter, which didn't help much, but I noticed a more responsive start from it.So, if you have a car that is hesitating, struggles and surges when you accelerate, loses power as you accelerate, you may have a filter that is clogged and needs to be replaced. The old filter had black gas come out of the intake side. I am sure it was well past spent.
