Woodland Camo hat cool!
These hats are not bigger than normal. I ordered the size 7 it was way small. The 7 1/2 is just comfortable. Don't listen to those who say 7 is not really 7 but much bigger. Not so. Order what you usually do. Wore my fishing and it keep the sun off my face and shoulders. The brim is actually firm and you can shape it. Washed it no shrinkage. Machine washed.I have a big head and it fits great.

How a boonie hat should be
As long as you understand 100% cotton will shrink and fade these are GTG. I knew that going in, its expected and have no complaints, way cooler than the other blends and far more comfortable. This is how a boonie hat should be. These are Propper brand so you will likely need to order a slightly larger size than your normal, they run about a 1/4" small. Remember initial lose fit is needed as all boonie hats shrink over time, if you get it and its already a little tight, go larger trust me.Pros: Comfy, breathable for those hot summer days in the Florida Sun and HumidityCons: I don't think this is a minus, but for those who may these are 100% cotton, they WILL fade and fairly quick. Propper runs a little small size wise

Math is hard.
The construction of the first one seemed ok. The problem is that I ordered a 7 3/4 size and despite the fact that the plastic bag had a label that read 7.75... the actual hat was marked 7 1/4. It was too small. Maybe the manufacturer should school the workers in the Dominican Republic on fractions. I’m sure if propper made this in USA this would never happen. Lol.

Fit
Fit is spot on. The 7.5 is just a bit large for me but 71/4 is always too small. That is why I ordered 7.5 and I wear a thin sweat band under and it is perfect. The 100% cotton is cool to the head when working in the yard in the northeast Texas heat. Have washed once and no shrinkage. Great hat.
