A great solution for small rooms or rooms with obstacles and close clearances.
This was a great solution to my problem of a rather large four poster bed in a small bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised that the fan is fairly heavy duty with a perfect chrome finish. The blades are wood finish, reversible color, dark and light. Installation is typical of most ceiling fans. I had wiring and switches already in place so the light and fan can be operated independently of each other from the switches. This can also be done at the fan as there is a pull chain for both. The fan is very quiet and moves the air around very well in a 10x12 bedroom. I did replace the mini base incandescent bulbs with much brighter LED bulbs that produce little to no heat. Shipping was fast and the cost was minimal considering I needed a very specialized fan for this room.

Looks good works great!
I looks great and runs wonderfully. I purchased this to replace an old fan/lighting unit in a small room. I chose this specifically for its compact size and sleek style, needless to say once it was installed, it looks like it was meant for the room, it actually opens up the space in the room I installed it in. It puts out more than enough air for the room I installed it in, the light bulbs that came with the unit were only 40 watt incandescent bulbs with a candelabra base. I have some 60 watt equivalent bulbs on order for bright light. All in all I am very pleased, and would recommend this unit to friends.

Cute Little Fan!
This fan is really small and cute and it's perfect for my dining space. I needed a fan where the fan blades were far away enough from the edge of the wall and the sprinkler. I first tried a 44" fan without measuring, which was way too big. After I actually measured, I did some research and I figured a 24"-30" fan was the best size for the space. If you're by the fan, you will feel the air. Remember, it's for a small space and if you're expecting it to work miracles, you should not buy this. It has 3 speed settings and I like the medium and high settings. When I first used it, the fan was a bit wobbly (probably because I was testing out the speeds by yanking on the chain), but it has settled and does not wobble anymore when I flip the light switch on/off. The light is okay. I don't care for the types of bulbs they provided, but I really wanted a ceiling fan with a light! The bulb box lists it as "G16 1/2 White 120V 40W E12" and two bulbs are included. Westinghouse also provided extra screws/random parts, which is nice. I like both colors of the fan blade, but I chose the darker color. The installation was a bit of a pain, not because of the ceiling fan, but because my condo did not have the standard size to screw in the ceiling fan's mounting bracket. My uncle had to drill a hole into the mounting bracket and we had to buy some hardware (couple of screws and washers). After that, the installation was pretty easy. I did all of the easy parts (attach the blade brackets to the blade and attach the blade to the motor). My uncle did the mounting/securing to ceiling and wiring. If we didn't have the drill, wire cutter/stripper, and my uncle's help, it would have been much more difficult. I wouldn't have been able to do this by myself. I've installed plenty of ceiling fans at my sister's and parents' houses. But keep in mind, it's my condo that didn't have the standard size to work with.

Great looking, high quality fan.
We bought two of these for our two smaller bedrooms, 12x10", and 10x8". They are perfect for the size. Easy to install, very quiet and efficient, and well made. The glass dome (the light) in it is called 'opal glass', but to me, that is inaccurate. It is simply white glass. It has 3 speeds, but have found that low is all I need. I like the fact that with the flick of a switch, I can change the direction of the blades rotation, one for cool, and the other for warmer. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Save yourself some grief and buy a balancing kit
I’m struggling with rating this between a 3 and a 4 because there’s so many things that annoy me about this fan, but it’s cheap, so how much can I really expect? This is pretty much a get what you pay for item, so I’ll just list pros and cons.Pros:- it’s small and cute. Good for rooms with bunk beds.- moves a surprising amount of air for its size- good amount of light. I don’t know why people are claiming that it’s low light unless they’ve improved the provided lightbulbs since those reviews. At least as much as the ceiling fan I replaced with this. Fine for my 12 x 10 foot room. I don’t like that the bulbs are incandescent because it makes the shade and light kit itself very, very hot, but I’ll just replace them when they burn out with something more efficient.- noise seems to be an “in the ear of the beholder thing” because I don’t think this is any louder than any other ceiling fan.Cons:- the fabric washers were too small to use when attaching the blade brackets. I only managed to get 3 on before I just decided to not use them because it was such a monumental struggle to get the screws through them. Weirdest thing I’ve encountered in the many ceiling fans I’ve installed since these are standard parts. You should just be able to shove the screw right through them.- pull chains are cheap and ugly; I cannibalized from another fan, they’re that bad.- Most importantly, the wobble is pretty bad on this on high (no discernible wobble on medium and slow). Both my ceiling fan box and the hanging bracket were super tight with no movement, so it was the blades. I managed to remove all but a little vibration with a balancing kit I had leftover from another fan, but it annoys me when I look up that I can see a wave pattern in the blades when it’s turning.- The down-rod doesn’t seem to hang straight down centered in the canopy cover. I guess my ceiling possibly is not truly horizontal, but I never noticed this with the other fan. My guess is the cover has been warped (it’s cheap thin metal) or it’s not cut right so that the down-rod can be centered.
