I was attracted to this bag because it was small and compact. Something I needed to carry around my diabetes supplies and other medicines that I use on a daily basis. Between work and travel, I was glad to find a well made product that suited this purpose. Construction consists of soft leather, sturdy handle and and tight fitting hinges which help keep the bag opened widely for easy access. The inside is also smooth leather, which makes for an easy clean up if something spills inside. There is a handy inside zippered pocket, pen loops and note and card slot. I like the velcro flap pocket on the outside. It is big enought for small flat items, including a calculator or cell phone. And it locks closed with a leather strap and keyed lock/latch. I can even pack a small lunch inside if need be.A great piece that is as good as any fine luggage item available. Slightly pricey at first look, but well worth it. Should last for a long time. Even doctors should love this bag.

This is a nice little bag. Its made well, soft leather. Their is a compartment on the back of the purse that has a Velcro closure. It just didn't make sense to have a velcro closure glued to a leather bag, it kind of reduced the quality. It should have been a a simple magnetic snap matching the chrome that was used for the front closure. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Leather is fantastic personally I love Velcro but it concerns me for the lifetime of the leather with the pulling on the back pocket flap to open it. However bag was a lot larger then expected as well as spacious. Great feckin quality of leather

I have been looking for a solid quality doctor's bag for several year on many different websites/stores, and when I recently found this one, I knew that it was perfect for me. I think that this bag is new to Amazon because I checked Amazon every once in a couple of months for the doctor's bag selection, and only spotted this one several weeks ago, and ordered it immediately. The bag came in carefully wrapped in paper foam (thin foam sheet) and then wrapped in a plastic bag. The doctor's bag is made of fine smooth leather, that can be conditioned for gloss and water resistance. The metal fixtures are very nice and stylish, very similar in metal finish to the metal fixtures that Kenneth Cole shoulder bags for men had several years ago. The handle is very solid and form-fitting to the hand. The outer side (lock side) is more curvier that then back side of the bag, that featured a useful pocket with a Velcro closure, in which a small pocketbook or a notebook can be stored in. The main compartment flap comes with a lock, to which a flimsy 2-prong key is supplied with. Inside the main compartment there is a plenty room for all kinds of doctor stuff. There is even an extra pocket on the side that can be closed with a zipper. Up to 3 pens, pencils, pen lights or slim probes can be stored in the separate compartments on the side, as well as a couple of business cards in the provided translucent plastic pocket. I'm not a doctor - but I'll take a look.

As a family doc, I decided it was time to start making house calls again. I love this bag, and every patient I visit comments on its sleekness and beauty. I originally ordered the medium but returned it, as it was way too large for my needs. The small has plenty of room for my BP cuff, stethoscope, oto and opthalmoscope, and still have plenty of room for other goodies I may need. The side pocket is really only appropriate for a script pad/pen. The locking mechanism is excellent and overall a great product!

This bag is superb. I bought it for my husband as a birthday/white coat ceremony gift. He absolutely loves it. It fits his entire diagnostic kit including his stethoscope, ophthalmoscope, otoscope with charger, pen light, eye chart, blood pressure cuff, two tuning forks, and a reflex hammer. There isn't much room left after that, but it's perfect for what he takes to class each week. The bag itself is extremely well-crafted and, for the price, it really is an incredible deal. Shipping was faster than expected and I got a very friendly e-mail from them a few days later making sure I was satisfied.

Arrived well packaged. The purse is a little on the small side, but adequate. Very hard to open at first, of course it will get easier as it is used. The only problem I could see was on the inside where the clasp would be, there is a square of material that looks as though it was glued on, like a patch, and it is coming off. I will try to glue it as it is not a big enough problem to send the purse back. Other that that, I was satisfied with the purse.

Good quality materials.With a little injenuity It fits a prescription pat, sphygmomanometer (without the case), stethoscope, pen-lamp, reflex hamer, measuring tape, and a small gucometer. If you want to carry something else like a regular size diagnostic set (otoscope, ophtalmoscope and the rest of the jiblets) then I recommend the medium one.
