We started using Nannycare First Infant Milk alongside breastfeeding when we needed to supplement, and we’ve been really happy with it. From the beginning, we specifically wanted to try a goat milk formula rather than a standard cow’s milk based formula, and our son took to this really well. He absolutely loves it and we’ve had no issues with him taking it. It mixes really nicely and the scoop is included in the tin, which is handy. I also really like that the DHA is plant-based and that they use fish-free omega-3. I actually took vegan DHA supplements myself during pregnancy, so this was something that appealed to me when choosing a formula for him too. I also like that it contains no palm oil and that Nannycare works with family farmers. Those little details were important to me when choosing what we wanted to use. It is definitely one of the more expensive formulas, but personally I think it’s been worth the extra cost for us. We used the Stage 1 formula for the first six months and have now moved onto the Stage 2, but we were really happy with the Stage 1. Obviously every baby is different and what works for one might not work for another, but our experience with Nannycare has been really positive. Our son has always been happy taking it, and I’d happily buy it again.

Best milk on the marker for newborn babies. My little one is so settled on it and has never noticed the difference as I had started her on Kendamil cows at first, but after 2 weeks of being unsettled we changed to nannycare and have never looked back

So I had read goats milk is the closest to BM. We got this while I was building my milk supply. The quality is hands down better than all the most common “best brands” and beats kendamil and aptamil by miles! For babies this is easier on digestions, doesn’t genetically alter milk and whey content, doesn’t use huge amounts of processed veg and oil etc like the other two, only goes through a single heating process unlike the other two which go through 3 heating processes and structurally identical to the most abundant HMO found in real breast milk. Did intensive research before I decided to stick with goats formula as it’s known to digest easier. I can now confirm this is true! My baby takes really well to this formula, barely spits up and no tummy pain. Yay!
