much cheaper than delta - and worked better for thin sink. use putty not rubber.
seems very high quality and the color is a close match to delta. I ordered the Delta part, was DOUBLE the price, only to find out there were not enough threads for a thin sink. I also could not get the rubber gasket to seal so use putty instead.

High quality pop-up drain for vessel sink
It was easy to install this popup drain and the material seems to be high quality. I did use extra caulk along in the area around the rubber gasket that sits below the top rim next to the vessel sink as extra precaution. Instructions do not indicate that caulk is necessary but some other reviewers have suggested it. I also used plumber's pipe tape on all threads to avoid water leaks. I tested the seal after completing the job and letting caulk dry and there were no leaks. Drain allows water to drain as expected (drains much better than the previous popup drain that I replaced). The popup mechanism is very satisfying.

Reasonably Easy to Install EXCEPT: High Likelihood these drains will leak--READ THIS FIRST
Though I'm not a plumber, I have installed a number of sinks/drains/plumbing fixtures over the years. I installed a Kraus vessel sink and the associated pop-up drain assembly (PU-10SN) for the sink (no overflow). The installation was very straightforward and the products look great and appear to be of good quality (at least in my opinion). No matter what I did though (trust me, the installation was done correctly), I had a small leak which appeared to be 'oozing' between the nut and the drain--thus it was obvious that water was somehow getting in between the topside drain flange and the sink itself. It was maddening! There is a thin silicone gasket that goes under the drain flange which is the problem. In the past, I have used plumbers putty when setting a drain into a sink. I wondered if the silicone gasket was at fault... then I came upon this Amazon review/video: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R29WIBZQEJVO5B/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_viewpnt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B001VJ7PKC#R29WIBZQEJVO5BEureka! Toss the silicone gasket and set the drain using plumber's putty. I also applied Teflon tape to the threads closest to the drain (for added 'insurance'). No more leaks! I would venture to guess that there are more than the original reviewer and myself who have experienced this issue. Many thanks to 'SquirrelGirl' who posted the review/video that solved the problem.

Good quality
Needed an extended drain to fit a stone vessel sink. This did the trick. You get your money's worth.

Fixed my slow draining vessel sink!
The media could not be loaded. I came across this while searching for ways to fix a slow draining vessel sink that doesn't have an overflow port. I'd been told by 2 plumbers that we needed to install a new vent in the plumbing, turns out the old drain just had too small of holes not allowing the air in the drain to escape when flooded with water. This was a quick simple swap and my sink has never drained this good since owning this house.

A Very nice upgrade
First let me say I had a plumber put this in since I had other plumbingthat he was doing. This is a standard drain size eventho the top looks large. That's just the umbrella Design . It sits a tiny bit above the drain and the drain seals just fine underneath when you push the "umbrella" top down.Like others have said, do NOT use the silicone ring and put itin with Plumbers putty. Better seal and no leaks. It went in no problem and itis Beautiful. The plumber told me I got a good one by buying Kraus.

This is exactly what you need for BIG THICK OLD CERAMIC Sinks !
I have these old ceramic sinks that are very thick on the bottom around the drain hole. I tried every trick in the book to get standard size drains to fit. I tried several different types of off the shelf drains but I could never get the drain to tighten down enough to keep it from leaking around the drain stem. I saw this on amazon after searching for hours for something that would work.. I knew immediately when I saw this that it would work on my sinks. Sure enough it fit in flawlessly with enough length to get a tight seal around the sink drain. The ease with which it went in made me think I did something wrong, since I usually screw up my home repair jobs at least once before i get it right. Highly recommended for non-standard or old ceramic sinks.

Price was less than hardware store, brand specific to make of sink, so fit properly. Had to cut plastic drain pipe to fit longer drain assembly. Looks great.
