Adhesive was like trying to scrape half cured silicon out of a tin can with a brush in can like you would get with pvc cement. PVC cement actually comes out of the can, unlike this stuff. I had to use a putty knife to scrape it from the can because it was only about a quarter of the way full and wouldn't pour in the slightest (expectable I suppose for only 4 ounces). Trying to get the pool ready for a party my wife decided to have and the patch adhesive had lost most of its adhesion before it could be smeared onto the patch and appears to have slightly melted it. Now I have a trashed 16 x 18 patch with useless adhesive that only went on in globs and won't stick to the pool liner. Within two minutes, additional adhesive would only start balling up and had zero adhesion. Stuff was so tough, it bent the brush attached to the lid instantly. Rediculous. I'm trying to find out if they will replace it. I bought a JED patch too and now need another one. Product can't be returned because it is flammable, so that is clearly out of the question. Need Amazon.com to help me out here.
