They automatically connect once you take them out of the case but they dont pause when you take them out of your ears.

True. Great sound for video and music! The external noises around us make call performance for those on the receiver. Moving dishes a bit almost left someone deaf! Not for work calls or calling on the go.

No, not for working out. Get the Beats pro with the wing that fits more securely in the ear. You can run with the Pro Beats and they won't fall out.
