I loved the quality and durability also I didn’t use it for my hammer but for my ratchet and it was perfect for what I wanted to use it for.

Very clever design
Keeps my hammer tight in tight against my hip - no more hammer banging against my knees with the metal loop kind. You have to be a little more precise when putting the hammer back in the sheaf, but totally worth it.

Does what it says perfectly. Only downfall is that the hammer doesn’t exit and enter the belt as fluidly as with the larger metal ring.

Fits great on my oxy rough framer bags
Fits great on my oxy rough framer bags. I use a 10 oz stiletto with a 17" straight handle. I don't think it would work with a curved handle, but wraps my straight handle like a glove. Hammer sits very high on the belt, and can be difficult to put back with longer wood if you are used to the loop.

It’s the only holster that will truly prevent slapping other than the expensive diamondback bags that most of us can’t afford.

I'm a little undecided about this product. It's awesome while the hammer is in and it's pretty easy getting it out. Pretty tough getting the hammer back in. I always have to look back to find it and then put it in. I've only been using it a couple weeks maybe it will become easier. I hope so because it's very nice not having the hammer hitting the back of my knee and it's quiet. Occidental makes fantastic products!
