Honestly, you thought about it. I’m tempted some times to zap myself, but truthfully it would just burn me. Please don’t do it. The device is pretty much idiot proof, but if you really wanted to you sure could!Oh right, yeah, this works pretty well for zappin those hard to reach wicks. The noise can be atrocious, but at least it’s rechargeable. If your house is one incense offering to your neighbors, your battery would probably last a week. But if you are just prepping for fall season and pre-starting all of your favorite fall scents, you’re probably good for a couple weeks.

Bought as a Christmas gift stocking stuffer! This lighter works super well and is wind proof! Also has a long reach which is perfect for thoes deep candle holders! Battery lasts super long haven't even had to charge it yet! Got it Christmas of last year and almost a year later still has power! Super easy-to-use! Very well packed! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a long reach lighter that doesn't need butane!!!

If you're using it for occasional candle lighting it should last you a week. If you're using it as frequently as I am for other things I have to charge it every day or two. Otherwise though I like it and it works. I got it for like 6 bucks or else I might have sent it back for the battery issue.

I liked the compactness this pen shape offered. Plus, while I do put the lighter in a safe place, I have a 4yr old visitor that likes to play with small things so I know the safety lock on this lighter will help to prevent any accidents if she were to ever get her hands on it. Works every time and doesn’t require you to have grip strength (I have a wrist injury and was still able to easily use this lighter). I just can’t see other lighters the same way now.

This slim lighter is great! Perfect for lighting candles and fire starters. I've used it dozens of times since I bought it ages ago and still haven't had to recharge it! It's my go-to lighter!

Bought this as a gift for my sister. She called me and said it was the coolest lighter. She loves to light candles and incense. Now I want one lol! She’s an honest one to tell me if it was junk or not. I will be getting one for myself.

This works like it should, it's literally made for just candles or things with wicks. I'm going to have to purchase another one because my daughter keeps it (MINE) in her room for her candles. 😒The only con is the battery dies faster than I think it should but it also does take too long to charge.

Saw these online a while ago but didn’t think they’d work well so never bothered. Someone in the family happened to buy one and said they were brilliant and they were converted. I got one and wont go back now! It’s fantastic! The rechargeable battery is awesome, it’s so much easier and safer than matches and I no longer have to keep refilling lighters!

Bought this to try it after my gas lighters keep running out of gas and it seems never actually get refilled when you try and fill them from a cannister. This is great, does the job and you just recharge it with its cable. I have used it to light candles only, sometimes you have to hold the wick in the electricity for a bit to get it lit but so far it seems to have worked well. Hopefully it will last, it’s not the sturdiest of items but for works fine for what I need it for. Recommend!

As someone who prefers not to keep liquid lighters around, I found this very usefull for lighting candles.The on button is hidden behind a slider (which also pushes up the two points where the arc is created).The lighter is on a timer and will stop if you hold the button in to prevent over heating.Very solid product, highly recomend.

This product was amazing, before it broke. It could quickly light a candle in a round two seconds but just stopped lighting after around two months.

I wanted to be more eco friendly, and I’m a candle lover so I was going through lighters so fast. I was debating refillable lighters, matches or this. I chose this and I’m amazed by it! I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner! It’s so convenient, and looks cute. It also holds its charge really well. It does make a high pitched noise when lighting stuff, but it’s barely noticeable, and hasn’t dimmed my awe at it!
