For the money, it would be hard to find a better value for an LP storage case. This Eurolite is easy to carry, extremely secure, and durable. The latch mechanism closes very securely and allows for the use of a lock if need be. The top handle is extremely thick and has a nice soft grip for carrying around.Inside the soft foam like padding fits records nicely, while still allowing some room to flip through.Mine arrived all silver (as opposed to silver and black as pictured), but that did not matter to me. As some have mentioned the top comes off a little too easily, for easy access, but functions just as well as a flip top lid. With a nearly full case I have had no issues with the handle breaking as some other brands have had.The cases states that it fits 70 LPs, it probably does, but keep in mind that if you store your records in a plastic sleeve with the cover and LP behind it- it takes up what the manufacturer would consider 2 records. I store my records in this manner and it seems like it may top out at about 50 LPs or so.Overall this offers superior security when storing your records at a really affordable price.

This case really is quality. The interior is lined with a rubber foam and the case fits records perfectly with enough room to easily sort through your collection but tight enough for no-move transport. The exterior is made of a high quality plastic-like material that looks like it can take quite a beating. The lid comes off (which I love) so you can keep your records next to your turntable for easy access and then goes on for transport. All the bolts are very solid, nothing coming loose here, and the latch is very high quality, I really don't think they could have made it nicer, and it locks. The corners are lined with hard-metal, so the case in general is rock solid. The handle is a hard polymer which will no doubt carry the case just fine. There is cushioning under the handle for comfortable carrying, which just shows you the logical attention to detail involved in this case. It is a VERY attractive package, something I can't over-emphasize. I'm sure if you spent more than twice what this case costs you might find something with more detail (though it'd be hard to find something nicer looking), but I see no reason to spend that much money when such an awesome case is available at this very reasonable price.

I was very pleased when this item came in the mail as i have been collecting rare and colored vinyl for a little over a year now and wanted to keep them safe. It is a very durable case and kind of even has a cool vault look to it. the locking mechanism is pretty cool and very secure however the lid is designed to come off. this results in a possible problem. the lid is rather heavy and the hinges in back are only half (hook and bar) like hinges and could and did bend a bit. As they are rather thick i was able to get them bent back into place but I doubt i could do this many times. If you are aware of this and dont let the lid fall back when you open it and ease it back instead this shouldnt be a problem at all. All in all its a good buy.

This is a nice, sturdy case. I'm not using it for LPs, however the 12" artwork I'm placing inside fits perfectly.I would give it 5 stars, but the manufacturer needs to do a better job packaging it. It arrived with 2 dents. Given it will probably get dented as I travel, I didn't see it as a huge deal, but if you expect it to arrive in perfect condition, I've warned you.The inside is lined with craft foam. While it covers the inside of the lock mechanism, as others have pointed out in their reviews there is a bulge inside opposite the lock.The lid is removable. This a nice feature. Once removed, you have an open box and you don't have to worry about the lid causing it to tip over because it cantilevers out the back. You simply remove the lid and place it out of the way.Oh, and if I were a DJ with a vinyl collection, I would add some sort of foam insert near the lock to keep that bulge from warping the records. Other than that, I should do a nice job protecting your LPs.

I bought three which hold my limited LP record collection. Sturdy and seals out dust and such. To me this is something you buy once and keep a very long time. A huge step up from the cardboard boxes I was using. I wish it had a slot for an index card so you could label what is inside.

I just pulled this vinyl case out of the box and was immediately disappointed by it's cheap feel and construction. It looks tough and rugged but one quick touch will tell you otherwise. That being said, I would have lived with it and just treated it with care to ensure a somewhat long life for this product but upon opening the lid I realized that one of the metal hinges was in fact bent and the lid actually popped off. Unimpressive all around.I'll be using a return shipping label for the first time in my life. Don't let the rugged look fool you. This product is anything but.

So essentially my fiance hated it because it's super flimsy and the top is jacked up. If you are going to buy a records case don't buy this one.

Using it as a case for musical equipment - it’s sturdy but doesn’t add lots of weight to carry. Looks like the PA cases, and the top is removable which helps the purpose it’s used for
