I thought this was a great look and price, and really had high hopes. It is a very sturdy bag and looks well made. I stuffed it with towels to smooth out the creases, and that worked fine. My reservation is that while the straw portion is relatively smooth, someone had mentioned possible pilling of clothing, I find the straps terribly rough and abrasive! I do have sensitive skin, but I think if I wore it in the crook of my elbow, I would end up with irritated skin. I think worn over the shoulder, which is how I like to wear a bag and keep hands free, it would really damage most fabrics...I can see even a tee shirt getting pilled. I thought the straps would be soft but they are very rough canvas texture, with seams in the upper portion,which add to the friction. I am going to try it at home, but I have real reservations at this point and may be returning. It is unfortunate as it would make a great summer bag. I agree it is not large enough for a beach bag, but using as a handbag would be ideal. Curious to see if others find this an issue.UPDATE: I went ahead and kept the bag and very happy that I did. The canvas strap where I have been carrying it has definitely softened and no longer feels abrasive. I will still exercise caution against it rubbing any fabrics, but so far so good. After seeing so many high end straw bags out there, that sell for hundreds of dollars, not even come lined or with any closure or pockets, makes this all the more special. I like that I can close the interior pouch tightly for security, or leave it open and just folded down for easy access. It is very lightweight, and I think ideal to "summerize" outfits. I knocked off one star just because I seem to still have a crease where it was folded, at the bottom, even though I had stuffed it with towels to regain the shape after it was shipped. IF the straw holds up and doesn't unravel, it will definitely be a winner. I wished I could find with a cream colored banding as I would grab that as well.

Used for travel has a way to cinch up the top if needed, well made, has feet on the bottom. No internal organization just big bucket but I like that. Won’t be an heirloom but good for summer and such.

I bought this to use at the beach on vacation.When I opened the package I immediatelyknew it was too small. The bag was cute and seemed to be good quality, but smaller than expected.

Love this perfect summer bag. I have lugged it on to planes, trains and taxis for two summers and it still looks brand new. Just a winner!

I had to return the bag as it's very small. The images are of a similar bag that is larger, they don't even mention the length and height of the bag. It won't fit much, especially for trip to the beach or pool. However it could be a nice casual bag to hold a wallet, sunglasses, keys, lipstick etc.

Love the size of this bag. I do wish it had a side pocket but for the price you can't beat it.

Perfect size. I like that it's structured and stands up keeping it neat looking. It holds alot but being that it is so light there is not alot of added weight except for what I have in it. Great for the beach or for a dressy summer evening.
