This plastic bonder worked very well for fixing a broken part on my scooter’s steering area. It created a very strong and durable bond, and now the part feels like it is back to its original condition. Effectiveness: Excellent. It holds strongly on rigid surfaces and performs as described. I purchased this plastic adhesive to repair the black plastic grass deflector on the 50” mower deck of my Simpliciity Prestige riding tractor. A small crack had developed near one of the screws used to attach that deflector to the metal deflector rod which secures it to the actual mower deck. The crack was not very significant, but I was still bothered by its presence and wished to prevent the crack from possibly becoming any larger, especially considering the kind of abuse that the plastic deflector can oftentimes be subjected to such as when accidentally hitting an object. Normally, I'd just bite the proverbial bullet and replace the damaged part altogether, but the size of this particular crack just didn't justify the pricey replacement cost just yet. Application of this J-B Weld adhesive was effortless. I'd been concerned about the possibility of it not adhering to the deflector, since I was uncertain about the type of plastic that deflector actually is...but it worked just fine. I was particularly pleased by the appearance of this adhesive, once it had cured. It blended seamlessly and I could barely tell where it had been applied but for the slight difference in texture between the cured adhesive (smooth texture) versus that of the deflector part which has a bit more coarseness to it. It’s now been four year since I performed that repair and there’s been no issue with the adhesive or the area where it was applied. Everything is solid and the crack has remained unchanged. This is impressive, considering the amount of vibration and punishment that the deflector takes as it rolls across the uneven lawn on my 4+ acres. I would definitely recommend and purchase this product again. This fix was certainly much cheaper than purchasing a brand new deflector, which certainly isn't an inexpensive part.

What needs to be said? Its J-B Weld. This stuff is tried and true in the best way possible. Used this specific purchase to repaired and reattach a rear bumper on one of my vehicles. Still holding strong almost 6 months later, and I fully expect this to last longer than the rest of the vehicle. If its in more than one piece and you want it closer to being one piece again then J-B Weld shall lead you to the answers you seek!

I had bought some off-brand epoxy from another shop, and man, that was just a waste of money! This is what I should have started with. Go big or go home! J-B Weld works just as it should, no question. I wish they had more than the two colors that I could find, but the black ended up being perfect for what we needed. No odor that I smelt, which was a huge surprise and a very nice one. It dried fast and still gave me some time to use. I do love the easy closing feature. No more messy press-on caps!

This stuff is great. My VW had a broken plastic tab that really holds the whole front bumper on. This adhesive allowed me to cement a metal washer to reinforce the circle of plastic that had been destroyed. The bond is super strong to both the plastic bumper and the metal washer. The dried adhesive itself is sturdy. Great product.
