Does it move around?** A: I do have hardwood floor - not newly finished but polished enough- and no, my mat isn't moving. Even better, the topping doesn't slide either so every move are where they should be and not gliding on top of the mat. Seriously, that mat is great! **Q: Would this be a good mat for kids to sleep on? Looking for lightweight mats to pack in luggage for kids ranging from 2 - 12 years to sleep on.** A: I am really not sure about using them for sleeping for an extended time. Like overnight I wouldn't think that would be very comfortable. For a nap--perhaps. I use mine for Yoga. However, the mat is thicker than most mats.
