No Longer Made in the USA! Now, Vietnam. Come on New Balance!
The quality was very good. However, my previous three pairs of American-Made shoes were better knowing American hands made them and I kept a person in America working. I will keep them because I need new shoes badly. Next time I will order the USA Made 990's V3, V5 or V6 unless the 577 v1's are returned to America. Please New Balance, bring them back to the USA!!!!!

Comforatble
these shoes are very comfortable. the issue is that my feet sweat excessivley in these and get itchy. I wish there was a more breathable sneaker than this

Does the job okay
Got these for my delivery job, and they do okay. Not the most comfortable for 8+ hours a day of walking, but I've tried plenty worse. Pair these with an epsom salt soak at the end of the day and I'm good to go.These are also surprisingly water resistant! I've had plenty of days where the ground is soaked with rain and my feet stay relatively dry.These don't have an awful lot of support, unfortunately. Once I added in a different insole, they felt a lot better. I still plan on getting something else, though. But for the money, this is a decent pick.

The Best Shoe !
I bought this shoe for my little brother. He loves to walk to different little towns ! Those shoes he had in the past last him couple of years! It's his favorite shoe . Even though he has bought more expensive ones New Balance are the best for him when it comes to walking!!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a walking shoe ! Quality is Excellent! The price is perfect! I am glad he is happy with the shoe I bought him ♥️

Been wearinfg this shoe for at least 30+ years!
About the only Tennis Shoe that fits my wide foot! Cant tell you how many pair I've gone thru over the years!!

Not what they used to be.
The 577s used to be made in the USA but these were made in Viet Nam. Very disappointed in New Balance.

Comfortable fits but looks meh.
Comfortable well fitting i just think it looks a bit cheap in reality. Shame the look isnt that good i do like new balance shoes but i wont be getting another pair and would not recommend them for the price you can get better.

New Balance
These are the best walking shoes on the market. My wife's foot doctors say so, too. It is too bad that New Balance UK and Europe think that one size fits all (no 4E widths) and that they have to be in several clashing colours in order to be a shoe. Plain white, black or cream is best. I'm sure that New Balance UK will close this avenue for us to get our favourite shoe as they have shut down all the others. However, I will persevere and find a source somehow.
