Bar Craft Stainless Steel Cocktail Mixing Spoon, 28cm, Carded

When I started making mixed drinks, I discovered that I was lacking a bar spoon, which many bartenders novice or expert use and by chance was able to find this one at the good price on Amazon. This spoon is a solid stainless steel construction and has 3 main functions that make it a great tool to use. This spoon is 28cm long, enabling it to reach the longest glass and the average size cocktail shakers. The spoon at the bottom part is quite wide allowing it to go through the toughest ice cubes, it has a built-in small muddler at the top, this is good to muddle light ingredients such as mint, but may be tricky to crush tougher ingredients such as lime pieces from which you may need a bigger stronger muddler or a small rolling pin. What make this item unique is the spiral pattern in the middle that has a function al purpose as by pouring liquids gently and slowly from the spoon end and letting it drip down towards the small muddler you get to create those fancy layered drinks that you often see at parties or other gatherings. Ideal to make stirred cocktails or mocktails depending on the occasion and your preference. This product is dishwasher safe and can be hand washed too. With this versatile item together with a bit of creativity you can make various drinks now in your own home with minimal effort whilst impressing your family and drinks. I started using this recently and had no problems with it since. Must buy for all your drink making needs.

Not a lot to be said about a spoon... it does spoon things. Its good at hard to reach spoon things

Good spoon, the right length and decent balance, a pleasure to use... for about three days. Then the muddler at the end became loose with no way to screw it on tighter. Eventually I unscrewed it entirely (you want a dedicated tool anyway). The only downside is that it no longer feels as well balanced.

Spoon feels good in hand and quite weighty. I am confident it will survive heavy use. The flat bit can be used as a muddle as it has a textured finished which is great for things like crushing sugar and leaves for your Mojito

This appears to be a well made good quality item but I have not been able to use it yet. Only time will tell.
