Levi's Men's 501 Original Fit Jeans

I think they have a nice weight to they. They seem to wash well. The little pocket area takes longer to dry so I just hang it till it's dry. I think they are comfortable. My only complaint is the don't stay at my waist. I walk on them more. I have to pull them up. It sounds weird but I'm female but I buy men's jeans because they have deep pockets and the sizing is nice. But the 501s are more like jeans where your belly button is to hang out. They always end up falling down about that level on me. It is weird. I still like them. I like the button over the fly because you never get caught with your fly open. I love the fabric. But I'm a female and our jeans are made from skimpy stuff. This is nice.

Ok I didn't even know they still made Levi 501's! Let me begin at the start. I was diagnosed with advanced stage IV cancer and I was told to fatten up as much as humanly possible or risk dying from the very aggressive daily regimens of radioactive & chemotherapy which would eventually cause me to despise food to the point of not eating a thing for 2 1/2 months! My lead oncologists team of physicians all pleaded with me to begin eating anything or suffer having tubes surgically implanted into my stomach for nutrition. So cut to now, I survived my therapy but not without coming way too close to death due to lack of nutrition as well as the lack of use of my digestive system. Now I seem to be able to eat whatever, whenever and I still can't keep the weight on. This has been both a curse and a blessing. The curse is of course for obvious reasons but the benefits have been wearing clothes that I never thought I'd be able to pull off let alone put on ever again! I'm wearing sizes that my body hasn't seen or felt in 25years. My wife and I have an inside joke that keeps the seriousness of what we've been going through together due to cancer and it centers around the fact that although I'm far from being out of the woods due to this deadly killer, I'm not looking like one would think after gaining all that extra weight, almost dying three times, having visible signs of radiation burns on the exterior of my skin and then losing all the weight. I'm not being conceited but I look like I did at 24years old and am wearing the same sized clothing, especially in the area of my waist, so buying new pants and having them fit comfortably as well as look great is definitely an ego boost! So the joke is, I'm the poster boy for cancer because it agrees with me lol anyway thank you for reading this far into my rant as it's turned out rather than a review. The Levis 501's feel great! They fit as perfectly as they did when I wore them for the first time back in the 80's Dont pass up a chance to get a great pair of jeans to show off that great pair of genes you've been blessed with!

From past experience, the 501 can run a bit tighter, so I ordered an inch larger in the waist. The jeans that came in fit perfectly. I wash them in cold water and hang-dry so they don't shrink too much. These have been great. Just remember you might have to size up an inch in the waist to get these to fit, and if you're going to wash and dry them you might want to size up two inches in both the length and waist.

When placing the order, I indicated this was a gift & to package it in Amazon packaging. This arrived in a clear plastic bag showing what’s in it. The recipient picked this up from where it was dropped off outside, totally ruining the Christmas surprise. Thanks a lot!🤬. That being said, he’ll like them provided I got the right size. These are his favorites & difficult to find with the button fly. They are expensive even on sale, but he needed a replacement pair, so here they are… no surprise at all. I have not yet inspected them for stitching, holes, or other potential issues. Too mad about them being in a transparent bag. They look like they’re the usual 501s staring out the bag at me (& him)🤷‍♀️

Classic Levi's; can't get any better for my money. They stretch with me without feeling "stretchy", they're softer than a baby's tush and I can buy them without trying them on because I know the size Levi's I buy will be right every time, rather than buying other brands who claim to be the same size, but aren't. They're easy to move around in, and I prefer the button fly. The denim is heavy enough to last, and look great with either a t-shirt or a sports jacket. or both.

Perfect jeans for just about anyone. They do have a button up fly.

TBH I ordered these for an 80's costume, which they were perfect for, but these are awesome jeans. I had no clue they were button Fly which is both totally rad, and a little weird. True Levis quality, fit , color and stonewashed style. Rock on!

Couldnt find these locally. Wasn't sure what to expect based on mixed reviews. Fit perfect. I like the button fly myself because zippers tend to fail over time. Will order same pair again when needed.

Direct from USA ! Il est bien, le tissu est correct (il pourrait être un peu plus épais, mais bon...). La taille est à ce point parfaite que c'est un vrai longueur 36, si difficile à trouver.
