The only downfall about this light when you put it on night vision it stays on there for a little while and then it gets brighter during the night but other than that really love that you can change the colors on the light it really brightens up my fish tank I did not use the suction cups that it came with I drilled holes in the lid of my tank and zip tied it to that only because of what the other review say about the suction cup how they don't stay

People in my fishkeeping group always rave about nicrew so I decided to get one for my 29 gallon, hoping it would light it up better than the generic version I had in my 20 long. The generic one lights the 29 better. The con is the yellow light is more green and it's not a very strong/bright light on the highest setting. The pro is the remote is better, with more options, and when I have a power outage, the light doesn't come on in strobe mode when the power returns, which is what I dislike about the generic one, and the suction cups are ridiculously strong, too. Overall, it's OK. I just wish it were a stronger brightness.

I love this light! I used it to replace an outdated florescent light that burned out on my fish tank. It has so many more options for about what it would cost me to replace the bulb. It seems well made and is easy to use. I highly recommend this light.

I like that this light can be submerged. I also like that it has a remote and has a timer. You can change the colors. It’s not nearly bright enough. I would not buy it again.

I needed to replace my 10 gal. tank light and thought I'd give this a try. I have another tank that's a glow fish tank and realized changing the lighting was pretty nice. I used a bit of vasoline, as suggested, to hold the suction cups better (it works). To my total surprise this light is far superior to the glow fish light. The color selections are fantastic and the lighting is just enough so as not to startle the fish. I may replace the glow fish light with one like this, that's how different it is. If you have live pIants, I would suggest using a stronger light. I am very pleased with the quick delivery and excellent service of this seller. I highly recommend!

Everything works properly. It has beautiful lights.However, I’ve never had an issue with algae in my tank. Ever. I’ve had this tank for years. 3 of my fish have died and the algae was totally out of control. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I finally asked a friend and they asked if I added anything new to the tank. This light was the only thing. I’ve since taken it out and have no light at the moment but I also have resolved my algae issue. So just beware that this could become an issue for you as well.

The light has been installed and working since purchased, so over a month now. There are lots of color options and there are 4 brightness settings. I like how some of the fish look in certain light and I would imagine if you have glow fish they would look really cool. I am not sure if it's help with plant growth, as they were really little at setup and are still alive but not sure if they have grown. I've added some plant lighting on a timer to help with their growth.

Easy to fit as a replacement for broken LED fish tank lights. Used the sucker cups to hold it in place on the plastic lid which seems to work. Remote control is a nice option. Good price compared to buying branded replacements from local aquatic supplier. Lights are bright and loads of colour and fade options using the remote.

This light is okay, the remote is not very sensitive and sometimes the buttons aren't accurate, but eventually it gets it sorted. It is not a very bright light, but I still have java moss, weeping moss thriving and a few stem plants that are doing okay. The suction isn't 100% , one side tends to come lose but the other holds on for dear life so at least in doesn't end up floating around the tank! That being said I am happy with the value for money and all the options it offers as far as colour changes.

It's good works wonderfully well .. however the picture you see is it on white light. It's either blue or other colours I choose.The white is not white it's very blue.But it's not the end of the world.It's a good light and works!Can't. Fault the company at all.
