Beetles Poly Nail Extension Gel Kit, 17 Pcs Clear White Builder Nail Gel

I have wanted to do my own nails for a long time and I am sick of press ons or attempting an actual acrylic set lol. So I got this; I made sure to read everyone’s reviews and watch tutorials and I’m slowly getting a lot better! Definitely get nail clips to keep the nail in place, also people have complained about the size of the tubes that come with the kit but to be honest you really don’t need a lot so it goes a long way! I’m actually going to be ordering more stickers and glitter and other colors of poly gel to add to my collection. Overall 10/10. Also, lamp works amazing I’ve heard others say it’s weak but it depends on how much poly gel and top coat you slap on there. Yesterday I did the clear poly gel with the butterfly glitter and I actually just dipped the dual nail form with poly gel on it right into my glitter and moved it around. It way easier than grabbing them and placing them (the top of the nail is more bumpy that way) And the picture of my thumb is from placing the glitter butterflies instead of dipping and forming. I actually bought this because of the damage that dip powder manicure caused my poor nails. My nails were so thin, broken, bending, brittle from dip powder. I figured I'll use this as a protective coat and IT WORKS! Which is why my nails are short, u can use this to build length if u choose to which is neat.Honestly I was pleasantly surprised how much longer the poly gel lasted compared to dip powder. And easy to use?....10X easier, keep in mind I've never done this in my life. I would absolutely recommend this. TIP- if the slip solution is too oily/sticky u can use regular rubbing alcohol as a substitute. The only reason I gave 1 less star for "easy to spread" is the clear, which I needed to use, is a lot more gooey, runny, sticky for some odd reason. Other than that it's awesome.

Ready to use with a small learning curve, lots of compliments. Doesn't take too long but not as fast as they make it seem. Don't stay on long if you are always working with your hands or washing them a lot/getting them wet.

The led lamp that came with this broke before I could even get my whole hand done. But after I bought one, the nails lasted two weeks with one or two touch ups on a nail or two, salon quality and a good replacement for the trip to the nail salon as long as you’re ready to put in time shaping them. It took me about 2 hours tops. I’d recommend for sure!!

I have been watching videos preparing for my kit to arrive. Within 30 mins of unboxing I had my thumbnail complete. I am only doing one to make sure I don't have a reaction. I am thoroughly impressed!! The instructions included could have been a little more descriptive. But since I had watched a lot of videos beforehand I was able to jump right in. The kit was nicely packaged. The color washed out in the picture, its actually a very pretty purplish pink. I will definitely purchase again.

I purchased this product to learn polygel nails. The kit included all things I would need to for a full set of nails. I cleaned and prepped my nails then began application. This product was subpar. The polygel was difficult to work with and I could not get them to fully cure. The UV lamp that’s included is too small and puts your finger too close to the UV light and causes burns. I was unable to use the kit The worst part has been the resulting damage to my fingers. I used this kit in April 2023; its xlose to August and my fingers are yet to recover. My nails grow in very thick and scally. My cuticles are irritated and swollen and theres no end in sight. The photo are from immediately after application and yesterday. Do Not Buy This prod

I actually like this. Very easy to use, I think I did okay for my first time. The most important part about making your nails look good is THE CUTICLE. They stress this in the instructions because wiping off the excess from around your cuticles is important and easier if they are pushed back. Other than that, how much gel you put on the nail will determine the thickness; I advise smoothing the inside of the nail after you put it on as well. Unless you have a nail drill to smooth it out after it's hard. All in all, I give it a 5 ! Will be back to say how long it actually lasts without breaking.
