Dog anxiety toys

This isn’t just for puppies! I’m happy to say my 12 yr old chihuahua really likes it! Look at the difference of him adjusting to it! First pic is when he finally put his head on it sleeping, that made me happy as you could tell he liked it! Second pic he slept beside it ( Trust unlocked) and last pic is him getting used to it. Update: My five year old niece loved it so much that she wanted one too! So we just bought a second one for her birthday present! So not only do dogs love it, but kids too. I think she found it calming and so cute. The heartbeat just seems to quiet anxiety. So this is great for anxious children as well as anxious dogs! I even think old ppl could benefit from it. Great product!

My maltipoo puppy has been doing great in his crate with this plush! He doesn’t chew or play with it like his other toys, so I’m not sure on durability/chew resistance, but he definitely prefers it for cuddling It’s soft, cute, larger than I expected (after washing and drying), and I haven’t had to change the batteries so far (4 weeks of nightly use as of now). Its heartbeat is a bit heavier than what I’d deem natural, but i like that it makes it resonate more in the crate. I place my hand in with him when he’s fussy, and the whole base blanket feels like laying on someone’s chest

I really wanted this toy to work for my dog because, honestly, it is absolutely adorable. The design is cute, soft, comforting-looking, and the little heartbeat concept is honestly a genius idea in theory. I can absolutely see how this would help calm certain puppies or anxious dogs who enjoy cuddling and gentle comfort toys. Unfortunately, my dog apparently viewed this toy not as a calming companion… but as a personal enemy that needed to be destroyed immediately. The heartbeat feature itself worked fine and was actually kind of impressive at first. It gives off a soft pulsing sensation that mimics a real heartbeat, which I’m sure is comforting for calmer dogs. My dog, however, interpreted the heartbeat as a challenge to mortal combat. Within minutes, there was fur flying across my living room like a Build-A-Bear explosion. To be fair, the toy is very soft and attractive, which may be exactly why my hyperactive dog became obsessed with annihilating it. If your dog is gentle, anxious, or enjoys snuggling, this may honestly be a wonderful product for you. But if your dog acts like they train for WWE in their spare time, proceed with caution. I spent $24 watching my dog perform emergency surgery on this stuffed animal while aggressively searching for the “mysterious beating organ” hidden inside. Once the heartbeat device was discovered, the mission was officially complete. Overall, I think the product idea is great, and it may genuinely help calmer puppies adjust to sleeping alone or feeling less anxious. It’s cute, comforting, and thoughtfully designed. I just would not personally recommend it for hyperactive dogs, heavy chewers, or dogs that treat plush toys like demolition projects. Cute toy. Sweet concept. My dog turned it into a crime scene.

Latest update We've had this for nearly a year. The puppy wouldn't use it but I used it as a neck pillow so it's on the bed. Today when she was playing somehow she got her back foot caught in the circle of the front arms of this toy. She was struggling. It was getting worse and twisted and she could have really hurt herself or broken her leg or torn soft tissue in her knee or hip or ankle or cut off the circulation for who knows how long if I wasn't home. If you buy this toy make sure that you cut the front legs open. There's no reason for it to be a circle. It's an entrapment danger especially for small dog or puppy. Our baby is 4 lbs full grown little chihuahua. She could really been hurt. Watch out for your puppy Updated ok, it worked for our puppy in her bassinet the first night. just the first night. we added a heater the second night but her cries tugged at our heartstrings so much she ended up in our bed and has been there ever since - listening to REAL heart beats, because she sleeps on my chest. We were going to return it, BUT this thing IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE NECK PILLOW EVER - minus the heart beat thing inside, which is really easy to take out through the little velcro pocket. super easy to wash and so soft. so we kept it for me. unconventional use, but it's so hard to find something comfortable these days and this is never going anywhere. it's mine

Purchased for our new pup and she loves it. She takes it all over the place and sleeps with it every night. The quiet pulsing seems to really calm her down. Recently had to give it a wash but I let it air dry. It’s as good as before.

I bought this for my senior Husky/GSD mix. It is perfect! She has been cuddling with it for almost an hour now. She isn't chewing it or thrashing it around like a toy. The heartbeat is low key but perfect. She lost her best friend a few months ago and this seems to bring her some comfort. This heartbeat puppy is a bit smaller than it appeared, but it doesn't matter. She clearly loves it. When I reached in to try to move it, she put her front paw on it and looked at me like, "Oh no you don't!" It's very soft and comfortable. I think the quality is pretty good (so far). I wasn't sure about something like this for a big dog like a Husky/GSD mix, but she is loving it. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a single dog. It's really soft, cute, cuddly, and the heartbeat is the clincher. Great little cuddly puppy for my lonely senior dog. Not only is the price fair, I'd pay twice the amount for it having now seen my dog's response to it. Worth every penny!

8wk puppy she loves it, helps her sleep through the night

Well it’s really cute but the heartbeat thing only lasted one day. My dog chewed & sucked on the pillow during the night & evidently somehow chewed down on the heartbeat thing & broke it. He loves it but I suspect he’ll rip it to shreds pretty fast. I have a 75 lb German Shepherd & it’s big enough for a big dog. He likes it a lot but I can’t imagine it’s going to last long. It’s not worth $25 for sure. I usually buy stuffed animals at yard sales because he normally rips through them pretty fast. But I took a chance on this because he is an anxious dog & I wanted to try the heartbeat sound to see if it would soothe him. It did but only for one night. Now it’s broken already so wasted money basically.
