Good suck, lasts 15-10 min… would get again! 👍🏼🐶🐾
The media could not be loaded. Murph loves snuffle mat snack time!! You can see that from the video posted — he’s gettin’ in there! We’ve used this several times so far and he hasn’t tired of it yet! The treats might have something to do with that, too. 😉 We use Lucy Treats ripped up into tiny pieces, or kibble, or Etta Says Sit treats, or ripped up fresh cooked chicken. Takes him about 5-10 minutes to get through each time (depending on how much stuff we use!) and he is very thorough! I did put a few pieces under the mat to see if he could tell the difference, and yes, he can. He just pushed the mat aside lolRight out of the box I noted the nice, sturdy quality. Nice, thick strands and doesn’t slide around on the floor much as it is big enough for Murph to stand on with his front paws to root around.Love how this is machine washable, too! Already washed it twice. We did not let it air dry though, because our water is on the hard side and towels, etc that get air dried are stiff and hard, and not in a good way. Just air dried in dryer with some woolen tumble dryer balls, and it was good as new! Or, you can air dry in the nice warm sun. I heard something about the sun doing something to bacteria… 🤷🏻♀️We did not buy it for the suction cups, so I can’t really comment on how it worked in conjunction with the mat. I did test one of the cups, and I will say that because our floor has some texture in it, the suction cups did not get “sucky” at all. HOWEVER, I also tried it on our very smooth quartz countertop, just one — and boy did it suck hard LOL Even without screwing the little knob down, it sucked. I just slapped that thing on the surface, and “Suuuck!” If you want an even harder suck, you might try wetting the bottom first… Don’t forget to clean it once in a while to get rid of the dust and dirt that inevitably accumulates…So, recap: good quality… Hard and stiff after washing if not dried… Suck power… wet it before use for best suck… lasts 5-10 minutes……Wait… what was I reviewing again? 😂Riiight —- the snuffle mat!! You dirty birds!!All in all, it’s a great investment if your dog likes treats and fun little activities like this! Would buy again!

Great for enrichment but fell victim to my strong chewer
My puppy absolutely loves snuffing out his treats/kibble when I am working from home. It is a great addition to meal time that slows down his eating and also provides enrichment. It is a very nice mat at a good price and comes with suction cups to secure the mat to the floor. Unfortunately for my puppy, even at 10 weeks old, he bit/broke through the plastic of the suction cups removing that feature. He is now a few months older and has figured out that all he has to do is chew at the suction cups until the come off the floor and then flip the mat until the food falls out.Regardless of how long it lasts, he really loves this mat and does provide a lot of fun for him but wish that the suction cups were a tougher rubber/silicon instead of a hard plastic so they didn't break so easily from puppy chewing.

Didn't notice you need to put suction cups on PERMANENT place!
I was totally bummed to learn that you have to place the strips that keep suction in place in a PERMANENT place! there's no where in my house that I would want that permenantly placed! So once you have the suctions in place, then you can stretch the rug so it's stays in place. My puppy took 5 minutes before he learned to flip over the rug and get all the treats out. Sigh.

My 5 year old pup eats hard food again!
My rescue pup would rarely eat hard food. When he did, he’d bring the food over to the carpet to keep eating. After some research, I thought about trying this snuffle mat. He LOVES eating his hard food again! Both he and our puppy have a mat, and they both love sniffing out the food! Seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made for them. The suction cups barely work on our vinyl floor, and beware they break EASILY. I accidentally broke one 30 seconds after I got it out of the box. We opted for cutting the string off completely and just throwing away the suction cups. It doesn’t slide too much, and we keep it on the floor against a wall to help it stay in place. Still a 5 star in my book.

Suction cups suck…er, dont suck💁
Maybe my tile floor is not smooth enough? It is smooth regular floor tile💁I could not get the cups to create and keep a vacuum. they didnt even grab at all. Unique twist suction action vs everything else uses like a clamping style to create the suctionOther than that, it works fine. My dogs stop “searching” by nosing for food and start resorting to ripping the thing apart as a method to get the treats though. 🤦♂️ It feels strong and well put together but wont withdtand any real attempt to be torn apart if the dogs wanted to though. A decent buy and try though I guess

It’s great!!! So far....
The media could not be loaded. I had this for about 3-4 days and today is my second time using it, but it has been great so far. I don’t use the suction or anything else, I just put the mat on the floor. The mat don’t move around when he eating, so it’s not a problem for me.I would fill my puppy’s food bowl up and then spread about 3/4 of it on the mat and I’ll let him eat the remaining from the bowl. This is because he’s trained to eat in his crate and he won’t eat his meals without being in his crate with the door slightly closed. After he’s done eating from the bowl I’ll let him out and bring his attention to the mat so that he can finish his meal. While eating from the bowl, he basically swallows his food whole... lol. But the mat has slowed down his eating speed and it’s also giving his nose a little workout when finding the food.I would recommend this particular mat for small dog breeds or puppies of bigger dog breeds. If you have full adults larger dog breed, then don’t buy this. I don’t think your dog will get much out of it because the mat is so small. For larger dogs I would suggest buying a bigger mat.But so far the mat is cool, I haven’t been able to wash it yet. But I will give an update after a few more uses and after I wash it.

Great quality mat but…
I do wish the little thread pieces were longer. Even when breaking off small pieces of chicken jerky, they were easily visible. Good quality mat though

Snuffle mat/washing update
My dog loves this snuffle mat, seems to be very well made, has useful hanging hooks and suction cups to attach to the floor, which unfortunately don't stick to my floor. I haven't washed it yet, but looks well made enough to servive a good few washes. Just a quick update on washing, comes out of machine very heavy filled with water even after 2 spins, hung in garage for over a week before it was dry enough for use.

My dogs loved it and now I want one for my room
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely fantastic. Got these as mental stimulation for my dogs, just to mix up meal times. I also plan on using them for entertainment on rainy days and maybe as a distraction during Halloween fireworks.Strong and soft material that isn't so delicate a dog would accidentally eat a piece. Soft enough I'd use it as my bedroom carpet if they came big enough. Fibres are spaced enough for large nuts to fall down between them and the fibres and long enough to hide the nuts/treats well.Easy to clean, there's a zip on the back to remove the foam edge so the machine doesn't ruin it.I did not need to use the suction cups, but being the mature adult I am I had fun sticking them to things like the windows and floors and can say they do appear to work well. They were not needed for my guys because as they hunted down the elusive snacks they stepped on the mat so it did not slide.I would 100% be happy to buy this again and if this was double the price it is I would still say it was worth it.

Great snuffle mat
My 8 month labrador loves this snuffle mat, he gets so excited when he sees it coming out. It's great for slowing down his feeding and making him work a bit for his food. Its a good size, seems pretty durable so far and the non slip backing means it doesn't move around the floor. While it is washable, it takes an age to air dry, even with an extra spin cycle, (>24h) so only wash when you don't want to use it for a few days!

Comfortable dogs bed.
Lovely thick comfortable dogs bed, great fun for them retrieving their treats in the material. The mat is ideal with its non slip bottom and two suction pads giving it great stability. It’s also very easy to clean and wash. We like it a lot and the the dog loves it too. Can say very happy with its purchase.

Pretty good but I want to try a different one
I'm haooy with this it does the job I don't regret it but I do wish I tried a different snuffle pad and here's why. The material is a funny choice, it's like a microfiber, microfinger towel it absorbs moisture and therefore smells and takes an age to clean and dry. Why use that material? I'm going to try anither snuffle mat with a quick drying non absorbing material. Snuffle pads are great and keep your dog busy for 5-10 minutes, don't buy into the nonsense about it being equivalent to an hours walk but it is good for stimulating your dog instead of just allowing it to wolf down its meal in 20 seconds
