Great quality & value for money
Great iron & heats up quickly. Great steam function. Only downside is the cord is not quite as long as I'd like.

Very light and easy to use. Glides over garments when ironing. No need to use steam button continuously. Only for heavy creases. Well worth the money. Cord a little shorter than other irons. But well worth it

Unreliable. DO NOT BUY!
Iron simply blew up after 9months infrequent usage, blew main house fuses, all electrical items needed resetting, complete mess caused by a rubbish product. Tried Amazon customer services, initially promised a full refund, then withdrawn and told to return at own cost to the seller. Complained about broken promises, told Amazon terms were return only, seller to repair. Pointless to get an unreliable product repaired. Do not buy unless you want problems. So rubbish product and rubbish Amazon response. Decided to replace and buy elsewhere, Morphy Richards from Argos, 3 year guarantee. Also decided to buy any further electrical items direct from manufacturer, iPad and PC ordered elsewhere. Informed Amazon c/s of my decision, no reply. As a long time Prime customer very disappointed in Amazons usually excellent service, very poor experience this time ‘full refund, no, do it yourself’. Unbelievable.

Short cable
This is a good iron, does the job with my shirts etc. only issue and I think it is a big one is that the length of the cable is way too short.I have to get an extension lead to use the iron properly, which isn’t the end of the world but I expected more from Philips, feels like they tried to cut costs with a shorter cable.Also it didn’t come with a plastic clip to tidy away the cable when not in use. Weird it doesn’t come with it.

No gimmicks or difficulty in use
Really nice article : not heavy to hold but very easy to manipulate in creased corners and water not needing replaced very often.
