Humid Okinawa Must-Have – Omni Breeze Keeps Baby Cool & Asleep Instantly
Living in Okinawa with its brutal humidity (sweaty mess even on breezy days), I needed a carrier that wouldn’t overheat us during daily walks or errands. The Ergobaby Omni Breeze is a total lifesaver: that SoftFlex mesh delivers insane airflow (#1 breathability), keeps us both dry and cool for hours—no sticky backs or cranky baby. The best part? Baby is so comfy on it—she never fails to relax and fall asleep almost instantly, head nestled perfectly. Turns fussy moments into peaceful naps every time. Grows from newborn (no insert) to toddler (up to 45lbs), all positions: front inward for bonding, outward for exploring, hip/back for longer carries. Padded lumbar and crossable straps save my back, detachable pouch/pockets/UPF hood are clutch extras. Easy switch between parents, machine washable (essential here). Pros: • Top-tier breathability for hot/humid spots like Okinawa • Super comfy—baby drifts off reliably, total relaxation mode • Versatile, ergonomic, grows with them • Practical features + great support Cons (minor): • Premium price, but worth it over heat-trapping alternatives • Short learning curve for solo tweaks If you’re in a humid climate and want hands-free peace (with bonus instant naps), this is it. Complete game-changer—highly recommend!

So comfortable; great for baby with torticolis
I purchased this carrier after doing lots of baby wearing research. I was gifted a Baby Bjorn Carrier Mini but every time I tried it, it just didn’t feel right for me or my baby and left my back achey, was awkward to put on, and just felt too bulky somehow too. My baby was only 3-4 weeks at the time and not very heavy, so I couldn’t figure out what was going on. I thought maybe baby wearing just wasn’t for us! My now 11 week old was diagnosed with torticolis about 6 weeks ago, and I had read that baby wearing is helpful, as you can direct baby’s head to the non preferred side while they contact nap on you and it keeps baby from laying flat on his back with his head turned to the preferred side. So, I began looking into carriers, thinking/hoping it was just the design of the Baby Bjorn that failed me. Sure enough — that has proven to be right. The Ergobaby Breeze is AMAZING. As soon as I put it on and got baby in it, it felt so comfortable and natural. It is so lightweight and breathable (for you and baby), and the low back support is everything and absolutely what the Baby Bjorn is lacking. When I have baby in it, it just feels like an extension of myself — it’s almost unnoticeable! Which I never thought a carrier could be. I am confident being hands free, can do things outside and inside the house with ease (I often grab this over my Boba wrap while chillin in the house), baby *immediately* falls asleep on me (and stays asleep!), the little pocket is super convenient and accessible, and it’s SO easy to put on (can get it on in and baby comfy in it in about 30 seconds). I also love that I can use this with baby til he’s 45 lbs — not that I may want to! — but having the option later down the line is awesome. My husband also loves to wear it and was impressed how comfortable it is. We use it multiple times a day. Additionally, my baby’s torticolis has greatly improved in the 2-3 weeks we’ve had this, our PT was blown away by his progress. We have been doing torticolis exercises but I really credit this carrier, as it has allowed us to keep his head turned while sleeping (considering he sleeps sooo much of the day!). Also; you may have trouble putting this on by yourself — just search how to put on by yourself and you will find videos that show you how. That had been my only complaint, but now that I have that trick down, there is literally nothing bad I could say about this carrier. Highly recommend giving the Breeze a shot!

Held up through daily use, built to last multiple kids
We've been really happy with this carrier. We use it every day and it's been with us through every stage of our baby's growth. It's comfortable for both the baby and for us, easy to put on, and easy to clean. The price felt a bit steep to me at first, but carriers in this range are all expensive, and this one is clearly quality. The stitching is really well done, and after all this daily use it still holds up like new. Honestly, if nothing breaks, I can see this lasting through several kids, and that's where the price starts to make sense. A product that stays with you for years is worth the investment. One thing that does worry me: the plastic clips. This thing ends up on the floor, in the car, tossed around all the time, and if one of those clips ever snaps, I'm not sure you can get a replacement part on its own. It would be a shame for the whole carrier to become unusable over one piece of plastic. So far nothing has broken, but it's something to be aware of. On the breathability, it really doesn't build up heat. Whatever warmth you feel comes from the baby against you, not from the fabric itself. Overall, a great product that we'd buy again.

Worth it!
I am a dummy for not buying this sooner. Comfy and sooooo easy to use. Adjusting from front wearing to koala carry is a snap. Easy to care for and wash! Breathable and I sweat so much less with this in comparison to my wrap.

Great quality carrier
My second child and favorite carrier! For my first child, we got a moby wrap, but it was frustrating doing all the complicated wrapping and tying each time. Then I borrowed my sister’s baby bjorn, and while it worked well, my back would start hurting after moderate use (no waist strap). This one has been great! I have worn my baby to vacuum the house (although that slight bending motion is still a bit harder on my back). I also walked our local botanical gardens for a couple hours, and had zero pain after that! I initially started wearing him when he was only a week old, and though I did stress about him not being positioned well enough to breathe, he did just fine. Still enjoying it at 2 months old! It’s easy to get on and off and baby in independently. I do get a bit sweaty, butI tend toi run hot and baby is an incubator, ha! It’s not unbearable or so much that I’ve worried though. And the material has not been an issue, as it’s been soft on both our skin. For reference, I’m 5’7” and 250lbs postpartum, and it fits well. I tried it on back when I was still pregnant, and it didn’t really fit my 9 month pregnant belly though, ha! It’s a bit more expensive, but I’ve found it to be well worth the price!

Beat carrier I have tried!
Love love loving this carrier! This is the 6th carrier I tried and its the only who has had all the things Ive been looking for. Not feel bulky, m seating in narrow setting, mesh so good for hot days, good back support. I definitely feel I can carry baby a long period of time with this. Nursing is not the easiest thing to do in this but it is doable. It is easy to put on and take off. And fabric colors are vibrant!

My favorite carrier! It's so adjustable and my baby feels snug in it. I got it when my baby was almost 4 months old. I still use it 6 months later. Doesn't hurt my back at all! Little storage pouches are super convenient. My baby will still nap in this carrier when we're on the go. I wish I had bought it sooner but I didn't want to pay full price (snagged it on sale) now that I've had it for a while I'd absolutely pay full price!

So supportive and fanny pack!
Love this product so much! So comfortable most carriers hurt my back but this one has a super supportive belt around the waist. It even doubles with a fanny pack. Carrying my 10 month old in it while in Japan and Thailand. Can’t get enough!

Great
Love this carrier. Use it all the time since our baby was 6 weeks. Fits my husband and I well, easy to go back and forth. The one challenge is the clip at the top of your back. It is fine for me and my husband but I can see how that may bother someone else.

Great for a newborn
This carrier is good to use for a newborn baby with the straps crossed in the back and can be used later when the child is older. It’s a must have if you travel with a baby.

Best Carrier I’ve Tried
I carried my 9.5kg 10 month old daughter all day with this on our 2 week trip in London. It’s surprisingly very ergonomic. The baby’s weight is placed on your hips so it doesn’t cause back pain. The carrier also helps achieve the desired M shape of the baby’s legs whilst in the carrier.
