Layrite Deluxe Cement Hair Clay, 1.5 Ounce

BE CAUTIOUS OF OUNCES PER JAR. Honestly, this is my fault. I should have checked. The picture looks exactly like the 4.25 oz. I usually purchase. Cost per ounce doubles for the adorable little 1.5 oz. you get here. As far as the product - I've used many, and Layrite Cement Clay is the best. Great matte finish and relentless hold. I actually use more when my hair is very short for a firm, textured look, and less when my hair is longer for a softer look that can easily be re-styled by running your fingers through your hair. Ounce for ounce, the best hair product I've used...just beware of how many ounces you are getting! Lol

Good for travel

Used different amount yet couldn’t hold at all. Makes hair feel greasy after that. Product was received dented like this.

I wanted to use this a few times before writing this review. I used it on totally dry hair and towel dried hair. I found it worked better applying it to damp hair. I have a pixie cut. Let me say less is more. First I washed my hands under very warm water to warm them up. The warmth helped soften the clay in the palm of my hands. I dried my hair as usual. The volume and fulness I got was a real surprise. Using it on dry hair it wanted to clump the hair up and felt sticky. The smell is very faint but pleasant and fades fast.
