First I thought it didn’t fit but then I twisted it to the other end and it fit perfectly.

Crucial measurement missing from product blurb
Product looks good; fits securely to the shower support, but the metal shower hose (20mm diameter) will not fit through the jaws which only have a gap of c16mm. Whilst the product blurb has all the other measurements of the showerhead support it does not include the width of the jaws! I'll be returning it for a refund.

Landfill material
These products should not be allowed. This is the second I have had that worked for about a day then no longer held up the shower head at any required angle. Weak and ineffective, probably going straight to landfill. Such irresponsible production.

Better than the one it replaced!
Liked the fact that it can be removed if necessary without needing a plumber. Seems better quality and sturdier than the one it's replacing.
