Benecasa Stainless Steel Stock Pot, 20-Quart

If you love making soup, get this. I love to make soup and freeze it for later in surving sized containers. Soup lovers must have this excellent pot. It's easy to clean, heats evenly, and I can't wait to make my 15 bean soup today.

Love the pot first thing we cooked in it was chicken and dumplings. And it worked great. Our next meal in it will be soup. If you cook for a big family this is all the pot u need I recommend this pot.

BOP is good, BOP is extremely THIN, beware when in use, can and will burn your contents if not monitored. For boiling water and corn on the cob not a problem but it could be for any other food cooking.

I use this pot regularly for sous-vide cooking, mashed potatoes, big batches of chili, and as a soapy water vat while doing dishes. It does all of these jobs admirably, and never once have i been concerned about its thickness or sturdiness. If I remember, one thing from the reviews that almost kept me from buying it was reports of rust. I have seen no corrosion in the year i've been using, at least once a week.

The metal is thin walled and when I got it I had to give it about 5 soapy washes before I felt I had removed all of the thick machine grease that the pot was covered in during its production/manufacturing. But it is serving its purpose well, to brew beer. I only brew about 1.5gal to 2gal of mash and that way I don't worry about boil-over. I don't believe it'll hold 5gal but haven't tried it. I did compare it side-by-side to a 20quart pot that my local brewer supply store had and they looked almost identical in size.

This is a big pot but not very heavy. Easy to clean

I like this pot, Handles are high up on the pot and that makes it easier to carry and dump over.
