PackIt Mod Lunch Bento Food Storage Container, Steel Gray

I switched from mason jars to this large plastic bento box because I kept breaking glass and worrying about putting glass in my gym bag / backpack. I wanted stainless steel, but this "shatterproof" had good reviews and huge size, so I am happy with the choice. Pros: The height of them are great for stacking in the fridge and fit perfect in my backpack's outer pocket. The dividers are easy to move around and snap to whatever size I need. They do keep even wet ingredients separated well. The lid snaps on tight and I haven't had any leaking whatsoever. Cons: The bento is ribbed for the water-tight separator slats. This means that it's a little harder to clean and scrape the last bits of food. They also don't really stack down compact so they take up space in my cabinet when not in use. This adds to the "tupperware" clutter that one might already have. Delivery: Fast delivery! One of my containers arrived with one of the latches broken off in transit. I think this was a shipping problem, not the manufacturer's fault, so I don't ding the review for that. Returns are easy enough. I am extra careful with the latches as a result, but they do snap firm quite easily. I am surprised that a latch was even able to snap off like that because they are sturdy with day-to-day use.

I’ve been using this container for years and when my old container finally packed it in after six years I just had to get another. Holds my fruit and veggies perfectly and separates them exactly the way I want them. It’s air tight too.

Anteriormente había ya comprado una pieza y me gustó tanto que encargué un año después dos piezas más. Lo usan mis hijos para el kinder, es fácil de abrir, el compartimento se puede ajustar de tamaño y entre ambos compartimentos queda cerrado herméticamente. En un futuro estaría excelente si pudieran agregar unos cubiertos

I put liquid and dressings for my salads or curry in between and it doesn’t spill over which is nice. It is pricey though which is unfortunate

Love this container! The seal is totally airtight between compartments so you don't have to worry about anything getting into another section. The ribbed design on the bottom is what makes it airtight, but that does allow things getting stuck in the bottom of the container (salad dressing, veggie/chip dips, or small toppings). Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. The size is great as it fits well inside my lunchbag and it's fairly lightweight. Other sizes from this brand sit well on top of each other, making it really easy to pack a whole lunch. 10/10 and a solid deal compared to other options.
