Q: If you have a high instep are these easy to get on please?

I also have a high instep and these are fine to put on when dry. When wet they are almost impossible to put on. I keep mine on all day at the beach and they are very comfortable take them off when we get back to our accommodation and allow to dry overnight to wear again the following day. Great water shoes

Q: Are these shoes non-marking, as well as non-slip?

These shoes are so light and comfortable and do not mark or slip

Q: Are they suitable for swimming?

They dry out within about 20 minutes and are light. Only used them for wading so far.

Q: How firm are the soles, could you walk around in them not just at the beach?

Yes. Flexible but firm. The sole has holes in. I walked along paths, gravel and stood on the bottom of a lake. Comfy, dried quickly, I liked them. A few small stones got caught in the sole but you can’t feel them when walking and they were easy to get out.
