Totally original
A non-Rock album from the man who wrote Nature Boy (a hit for Nat King Cole). A vision of His world as he wished it to be. He was both Beatnic and Hippie, without belonging to the hype of either. A total original, as a man and as an album.

Beware: this Righteous Records version is a cd-r. Great album but item description is misleading. Who wants to pay almost $20 for a cd-r??Stars for music - no stars for cd-r edition.

Contains beguiling track from Fargo-Series One.
Heard a track from this album on Fargo -Series One,which was beguiling(whoever put the soundtrack together for Fargo well done for finding this).He seems to be talking about non- duality before it was common parlance in spirituality in the West.Eden was obviously a hippy ahead of his time.I would call this a concept album really and Eden’s Island vibe is captured on the album(gentle breezes summoned up with marimba sounding instrumentation).The oddest of oddities of which I’m happy to give a home to.

A timeless pleasure!
I am not going to write a review on Eden Ahbez, If you know him you probably already love him, and if you don't know, well, what are you waiting for?This re-edition of the eden island is of very good quality, and includes a fantastic bonus track!!! A great surprise! I had been looking for a vinyl version of the album for ages, but the original vinyl on the second hand market is really expensive (£300+), so this re-edition is a perfect replacement, and the bonus track makes it special!Blooow wind blow!! Wooooo OOOOOooooOOOOO
