Very sharp
This does the job for sure! Just be sure to use the plastic guard. My boyfriend cut the top of his finger off! So be careful.

Handy slicer.
Have had the same slicer for 30 years from a German brand. also made in China. Very handy, Thought its about time for a new one and this one is about the same as the one I had. Use it mostly for slicing although handy with the other inserts too.

Amazing Grater!
So easy to use. Easy to clean. Doesn't take up space. Easily fits in my kitchen drawers, now that I got rid of those other useless ones... My new favorite kitchen toy 😁!

You get whut you payed for
It's not very stable when cutting a potato

Not what I anticipated.
The piece that slides is able to lock onto the base but that doesn't seem to really have a purpose. The waffle cutting blade setup is very difficult to use and the blades are not deep enough to cut through all the way. It rusted very soon after receiving.

Do Not Buy For Waffle Fries
I had my 17 year old pick his own waffle fry slicer. Well he didn't read the reviews and picked this one. This slicer makes such thin slices (thickness can't be adjusted) that you are practically making potato chips not fries. The entire mechanism feels cheap and if you try to use the shoot to hold the veggies it sticks and gets hung up with each slice. The trick to slicing waffle fries is to turn the potato with each pass. But if you use the shoot to hold the potato you have to go through a whole process to turn the potato-and its a pain just make a slice. If you want thin slices of veggies this would probably be fine. I do like how the different cutting blades fit into the unit in a tidy way. But it is not good for fries-and that is the only reason we bought it. Now I've wasted 15 dollars...

Cuts vegetables easily
I like this product, it is sharp cuts vegetables well. And you can make match stick carrots with it. Slices potatoes well for scalloped potatoes, fried potatoes, have one in white love this product.

I like all the things I can do with this gadget. I like slicing on the mandolin. It is super easy to take apart and clean. Really a great value!
