Q: What does DMF stand for?

Stupid Letters to put on a hat brim. I am going to change mine out or just take it off completely. dmf....means dumb mother F....... Even my Grandkids know that kind of stuff. Very Nice Hat other than the letters!

Q: many of the complaints are about the grommets rusting, has that issue been fixed yet, it's kind of a deal breaker for me?

Got mine in 2020 and yes my rivets have rusted.

Q: Does sweat soak through to the outside?

After repeated wearing during hot weather, your sweat will soak through depending on how much you sweat. My hat showed sweat stains round the hatband and I washed it. It looks new again and I continue to wear it anytime I'm outside in the sun.
