Bought this as an as new Amazon Warehouse Events deal item and was very pleased with the overall quality. It is important to choose the appropriate model you require, some have restricted label widths, only connect via usb etc but the basic QL-600R version suited my needs perfectly. Labels both Brother and generic are readily available and given it is a thermal printer there are no ink cartridges to purchase. I was somewhat surprised that on opening the (damaged Amazon Warehouse) box the instructions had a prominent coffee mug stain evident. This was soon explained when I tried to download the software and drivers from the Brother website, it was a case of if at first you don't succeed try try and try again! Even the successful download took ages. The P touch Editor software is pretty expansive with loads of options, formats, texts, fonts, clipart etc but is a bit clunky and is not always intuitive, keep in mind it is for all model versions and may not let you perform some model specific functions. Now it is up and running the label quality including adhesion is excellent, I have my relevant label templates saved and the somewhat tedious set up now forgotten, hence 5 stars... nice bit of kit!

Il est conseillé de télécharger le logiciel adapté, pour pouvoir utiliser l'imprimante dans son plein potentiel. Le soft automatique est rapide et suffit a imprimer simplement. Le logiciel complet permet l'usage de la couleur rouge sur une des bandes fournies, de tous les formats et options possibles! Elle est tres rapide en impression N&B et + longue en impression rouge, c'est normal. Je la trouve plus facile d'utilisation que son équivalent Dymo,a ce propos les bandes sont beaucoup plus facile a installer sur cette petite Brother. Pour le prix elle est parfaite. *Attention, les bandes générique ne permettent pas l'impression en rouge, mais pour du consommable en grande quantité, en N & B, des génériques font tout aussi bien le job.

Venendo da una leitz icon che dopo poco più di un anno inspiegabilmente si rifiutava di connettersi in wifi, ho deciso di sostituirla con questo modello. Premesso che ne faccio un uso saltuario, anche se a distanza di qualche mese un paio di cartucce bicolore (rosso/nero) le ho usate, posso tranquillamente affermare che il prodotto si è dimostrato davvero eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista. Certo le cartucce non costano poco ma la differenza dalle compatibili si vede davvero. Installazione del prodotto molto semplice, manuali e sw (pc e cell) in italiano, quest'ultimo decisamente versatile e completo. Per quanto mi riguarda promossa a pieni voti. NB: cercando i ricambi non è passata inosservata la vers. completamente a colori, ovvero Brother VC-500W che mi arriverà venerdì. Quest'ultima sarà destinata per un etichettatura più professionale dato che la pellicola è lucida e a colori, ma anche più parsimoniosa dal momento che la lunghezza della cartuccia è la metà di questo modello: 5mt contro i 10mt e naturalmente decisamente più costosa. Tuttavia insieme ritengo siano complementari. In ogni caso scriverò una recensione più approfondita nella pagina del prodotto appena mi arriverà.

Package arrived to an amazon drop off locker with ease. The printer is an easy set up though if you're not totally tech savvy I could envisage some issues. There is also a phone app that works really well allowing you to print labels straight from your phone. I would recommend the white and black labels rather than white on black/red if you're wanting to just print black labels as the latter seems to have a brown tinge unless it's just a red label (and in that case the red is amazing for thermal). Upkeep on the hardware is minimal. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has labels to print. Labels can be pricey but found great bargains here on amazon for original labels. Update: early 2019, we did have an issue with one of the round labels that brother sells. I cannot fault brother after sales service at all, they have been in constant contact and have also ordered stock of the same label to try and replicate the issue themselves. They have resolved the issue for us and I can honestly say that if your looking for a great little printer offering professional results with amazing product support I cannot recommend this product and brother enough.

L'imprimante est compacte, et s'installe très facilement. L'impression est rapide. Je recommande vraiment !
