Great light shaper for the money
I've recently bought a LED light with a Bowens fitting; after looking around, this Triopo 90 cm Portable Octagon Umbrella Softbox came with a good review and a considerably lower price tag than some Brands. I'm pleased with the product, and it seems well made and fit for purpose. Easily set up and works perfectly for interviews, portraits or product work. I will probably buy another for the next light.

Great softbox
Lightweight but no compromise on quality.

well made, quick to deploy
This is a well made and very good value dome. It has a well machined Bowens mount - I fitted it to the Sokani x60 v2 and the dome is a good match in weight and size. The dome uses the quick deployment click to engage struts - in the same way as the Aputure Dome II. There are less struts than the Aputure Dome II so it is quicker to deploy and stow. It has a white diffuser/ baffle 2/3rds of the way from the centre and the front diffuser velcro fixed to the front of the dome. Eggcrate is also velcroed on the front.When folded it stows into a bag that is compact enough to transport with stands and light heads.In summary - a lightweight, good quality dome at a fraction of the price of branded equivalents.

Easy to set up and use
This is my second triopo soft box of differing size. They are so easy to put up and pack away on a set as it’s all connected, no removing the pipes.

Easy open
Large softbox, easy to open and close after basic rod insertion pull up rods lock in place some metal and plastic in the build. Only used twice at present, longevity to ɓe seen. Overall very happy with product

The release mechanism is FLIMSY and breaks - NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER!
After only 5 careful uses it broke in the hands of an experienced mature Pro-photographerThe Company responded that NO warranty exists!Despite not being 'fit for purpose'. It is still for sale, as are other models with the same mechanism.Amazon also recommends this product, which I find unhelpful as I often use their recommendations.
