Cost versus performance.
This remote was to replace a factory remote which I dropped hard on concrete for a 2010 Cadillac DTS. Once put back together, the old remote would only unlock / lock the doors. All other functions were dead. The new one programmed perfectly, quickly and looks and feels exactly like the original Cadillac type except for the missing emblem on the rear which considering the cost is understandable. Sticky backed emblems are readily available if you really need to have them, otherwise a great product for the price. This remote purchased from a dealer costs five times more money. Overall, this is a great replacement.

I like the remote, it came with easy instructions. It does come apart at times.

Doesn't have inside key would not work 09 cts
It would not program for 09 cadillac cts ,it also doesn't have the hidden key I think it's a valet remote regardless the car would not read the remote .
