I reordered these based on the picture on Amazon But they’re not the same and are no more durable than cheaper ones I found online One fell out of the shipping box and fell 3 feet to the wood floor and broke in half

Let me start by saying that I DID NOT RECEIVE a discount for this product; I paid for it in full and my review is honest. I love these hangers. I used to work in retail and we would receive our shipments of pants hanging from pants hangers that were similar to these, and we would take those hangers off and put them on "regular" hangers. The "regular" hangers were the kind where the clips could swivel and you could slide them around. I hated the "regular" hangers. When you hung up 45 pairs of pants next to each other, the clips would catch the hangers on each other and make a mess. Then - we'd throw the shipment hangers away...! I asked my manager if I could take a few home instead and they quickly became my favorite pants hangers! I've been looking to buy them ever since, even 20 years later. I love that you can hang several pairs of pants right next to each other in your closet and they hang flush against each other - no protruding clips. I love that they don't get caught on each other - no protruding, swiveling clips. I love that I don't have to fold my pants to hang them, I love that they grip so I don't find pants on my closet floor, I just love them. To be clear, though, there was a reason that we switched to the "regular" hangers in the store: these hangers aren't meant for larger, plus-sized pant sizes. I think if your waist size is larger than 14, the outer edges of your pants might fold over because these hangers would only be hanging the middle of the waist. (That's why the "regular" hangers were better, because you could slide the clips outward.) One more point of clarification. The hangers we would get in retail had a different grip mechanism - you slid the metal part up, opened the clip, and then slid the metal part down to close the clip. These are pinchy clips.

They're just okay. Works well for pants, and the non-slip big clips do their job, but the overall quality is a bit lacking. A few of the clips have already broken, and they don't feel very sturdy. They're decent for the price, but nothing special.
